Par OGDEN NIGEL. Lewis Carroll from 'Alice in Wonderland' and inspiration for this lively and fun piece of light organ music. '. . . suddenly a White Rabbit with pink eyes ran close by her. There was nothing so very remarkable in that; nor did Alice think it so very much out of the way to hear the Rabbit say to itself, 'Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be too late!' (when she thought it over afterwards, it occurred to her that she ought to have wondered at this, but at the time it seemed quite natural); but when the Rabbit actually took a watch out of its waistcoat pocket, and looked at it, and then hurried on, Alice started to her feet, for it flashed across her mind that she had never beforeseen a rabbit with either a waistcoat pocket or a watch to take out of it, and burning with curiosity, she ran across the field after it, and was just in time to see it pop down a large rabbit-hole under the hedge. Par ROTH. Daniel Roth 's Triptyque (hommage à Pierre Cochereau) for Organ. Daniel Roth was born in 1942 in Mulhouse, in France. He studied music at the Paris Conservatoire where he won first prizes in harmony, counterpoint, fugue, accompaniment, Organ and improvisation, going on to win prizes in international competitions, including the SACEM prize for Organ composition, and the first Grand Prix de Chartres for interpretation and improvisation. His performing career has been international, with recitals, conferences, performances for radio and a large number of records. At the same time, he teaches Organ, improvisation and interpretationat the Musikhochschule in Frankfurt/Main, Germany. He also composes and his works are published and played the whole world over. Daniel Roth is organist at the church of Saint-Sulpice in Paris./ Répertoire / Grand Orgue
