Aus der Fülle Musik für zwei Tasteninstrumente, welche in der Bibliothek des Benediktinerstiftes Einsiedeln aufbewahrt wird, stammen diese zwei bisher unveröffentlichten Kompositionen anonymischer Autorschaft für zwei Cembali. Während die einsätzige Sonata in C-Dur von den beiden Spielern ein dichtes, duett-artiges Zusammenspiel verlangt, wird das dreisätzige Concertino in G-Dur von einem äußerst reizvollen und galanten Dialog geprägt, der uns in stilistische Nähe der Orgelsonaten C. Ph. E. Bachs führt. Hier könnte man sich angesichts des teilweise sehr ausgeprägten Wechselspiels der beiden Stimmen auch unbeschwert zu einer Ausführung auf zwei Orgeln verleiten lassen. Beide Stücke überzeugen durch ihre kompositorische Qualität; den Ausführenden jedoch werden keine besonders hohen spieltechnischen Anforderungen gestellt. Insgesamt gesehen stellen diese Werke sowohl für den kirchen-, als auch für den kammermusikalischen Gebrauch eine sehr zugängliche und höchst willkommene Erweiterung dieses Repertoirebereiches dar./ Répertoire / Cymbales ou Piano
