e is a
straightforward,
refreshing new march by
Peter Riedemann.
Following a compelling
introduction, the descant
presents a light, playful
theme, which is repeated
with a legato
countermelody in the
tenor register. The
second reprise is
characterized by the
alternation of descant
and bass. The trio part
is initially played
cantabile,
followed by a bold
marcato
repetition.
Na
een overtuigende
inleiding weerklinkt in
de discant een luchtig
speels thema met in de
herhaling een legato
tegenmelodie in het
tenorregister. De tweede
reprise wordt gekenmerkt
door de afwisseling van
discant en basregister.
Het triodeel wordt
aanvankelijk gevormd door
een cantabile speelwijze,
met aansluitend een
herhaling in een stevige
marcato uitvoering.

A rip roaring
grandioso concert march,
full of wonderful melodic
lines and striking
rhythmic features. An
extremely appealing
composition for both
performers and listeners
alike.
In
Decorum volgt na
een verrassende, virtuoze
inleiding een speels
leggiero thema. Hier
wordt in een dynamische
contrastwerking de
houtgroep afgewisseld
door tutti-spel.
Aansluitend komt een
melodische lijn aan bod
met triolenen gepunteerde
figuren als opvallendste
ritmische kenmerken. Het
triodeel etaleert een
nieuw thema waarin het
zestiendenotenbeeld de
overhand krijgt. Met een
markante grandioso
slotreprise wordt deze
concertmars afgesloten.
Decorumis een
bijzonder aanstekelijke
compositie voor zowel
muzikanten als
publiek.

Decorum folgt auf
eine überraschende,

verspieltes, leichtes
Thema. Hier wechseln sich

Tutti-Passagen ab,

While composing
this beautiful chorale,
Hayato Hirose was
inspired by the fond
memory of the pre-marital
days he spent with his
beloved wife, Minako.The
chorale starts with
gorgeous woodwinds, after
which the brass section
is gradually added to
enhance the atmosphere.
The main theme is
repeated and developed in
several different keys in
the middle section,
followed by the
recapitulation and the
romantic coda that
concludes the work.
Moment Musical gives any
concert programme a touch
of warmth and
tenderness.

entire band joins in.
This gives way to a
contrasting lyrical theme
which develops until it
joins up with the fanfare
to complete the opening
section. A lively and
heavily syncopated vivo
follows, cast as a
traditional march,
complete with a 'bass
strain' and trio. After
the original march theme
returns, a climax leads
back to a reprise of the
majestic opening, which
brings the piece to an
appropriately triumphant
