Hence I have prepared my own exercises, studies and arrangements suitable for teaching the tuba to pupils and students. Some of that material is contained in this collection. The studies presented here are not virtuosic works, as I was anxious to ensure that they would be first and foremost accessible to the player, especially during the early years of tuition in schools and brass bands.
