The sound is both full and harmonically interesting including two very colorful modulations. It is a very powerful setting which builds harmonically and melodically throughout and ends with a surprising and effective conclusion. An original composition Composer Cynthia Dobrinski takes inspiration for this original composition from I John 5:4 and Hebrews 12:2 (the faith chapter). The introduction, like faith, begins small and then grows. The melody is almost march-like, but more emotional. A section of marted chords may be interpreted to show the tenacious spirit faith must take. The ending is triumphant and rung at fff. Written in C Major, measures total 94.

Christmas tune Originally commissioned for performance in Christmas Serenade '95 with the San Antonio, Texas symphony, this piece is true to the text's intent. After a bright opening the music slows to a more leisurely pace where the bass melody is accompanied by triplet thirds in the treble bells. Lots of staccato is called for in the final, bouncy section which speeds up the last five measures to end with a flourish. This rendition is scored in F Major and is 78 measures.
