Ever
wonder what it was like
on that one starry night
in Bethlehem long ago?
That night when angels
sang, shepherds rejoiced,
and a young couple gazed
at their precious,
newborn baby boy. You may
think you’ve heard
it all before; that you
know all there is to know
about that night and that
special baby’s
birth. But until
you’ve heard the
story told by the animals
who were there with Mary
and Joseph, you just
might be missing an
important perspective on
all that happened that
first Christmas night!
Now you can hear all
about it in Raad
Tidings We
Bring…The
Animals’
Christmas Story, new,
from Christy and Daniel
Semsen! The
Animals’ Christmas
Story begins with two
revered
“old-timersâ€
€¦ two celebrated
“senior
citizens†of the
animal community in
Bethlehem. Meet Ruthie
and Eleanor; one, a wise
old donkey, the other, a
shall we say,
long-in-the-tooth, camel,
both reminiscing about
the night when Christ was
born. Our two old friends
are joined throughout the
musical by others who all
came together to
experience this
miraculous birth.
You’ll hear from
birds on their way to
Bethlehem for the census,
meet theater mice and a
thespian cat who
entertain guests at the
inn, and be introduced to
a super-smart sheepdog
and a super-chill flock
of sheep- you know, those
sheep who saw the angels
on the hillside, outside
of Bethlehem! Raad
Tidings We Bring…
The Animals’
Christmas Story, is a
paws-i-tively amazing,
meow-fully wonderful,
hee-haw-fully marvelous
re-telling of
God’s love
story…the story of
a Savior, the story of
redemption, the story of
Christmas!

It's
been some time since
we've heard from the
composer of the beloved
Taste and See, but Come
to the Feast is certainly
worth the wait. A
resident of Vienna,
Austria, James Moore has
made a special return
visit to the United
States to produce this
lively new collection.
Known for simple refrains
perfect for assembly
singing, this collection
offers Let Us Go
Rejoicing, featuring a
delightful refrain in
canon, Love Endures, a
wedding song with a
simple congregation
response, and Praise Ye
the Lord, a wonderful new
hymn. I Am Special was
written for use with
children's choirs and may
also be used with a
combined choir of adults
and children. Alive! is a
lively song written
especially for youth,
while Be Still is a
meditative tune ideal for
after Communion. Includes
one of each of the
following octavos: I Will
Be with You - Touch
Somebody’s Life -
Do You Know Me - Let Us
Go to the House of the
Lord - An Irish Blessing
- Taste and See - Hail
Mary, Gentle Woman - Come
to the Feast - Welcome In
- Spirit of God - Be
Still - Love Endures -
Litany of Thanksgiving -
I Am Special - Alive -
Praise Ye the Lord - Sing
to the Glory of God.

This profound
collection for Palm
Sunday, Triduum, and
Easter, deeply infused
with the passion of the
season, evolves from the
worship in the parishes
where Rory Cooney and
Gary Daigle have served
over the years. Trumpet
in the Morning, Rory
Cooney's highly
inspirational hymn for
the millennium, is set to
the haunting strains of
an early-American melody.
The text draws on jubilee
imagery, especially from
the book of Leviticus,
but its point of view is
distinctly modern. New
hymns resound with the
emotions of the season,
including the solemn
strains of Good Friday's
Precious Blood and the
truly uplifting title
song, This Very Morning.
Also included is a new
concertato arrangement of
Suzanne Toolan's classic,
I Am the Bread of Life.
Highlights of this
collection include a
stirring acclamation for
baptism that has been
expanded into a song for
the sprinkling of the
assembly. There is an
upbeat Litany of Saints
to accompany the
baptismal procession to
the font, appropriately
based on When the Saints
Go Marchin' In and
incorporating the refrain
from that enduring
spiritual. One each of
the following octavos:
TRUMPET IN THE MORNING
(G-4970) • QUIET
STRENGTH (G-5011) •
PALM SUNDAY PROCESSIONAL
(G-5012) • LENTEN
GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
