This work was commissioned by Music Teachers National Association to feature and promote collaborative music. Premiered at the MTNA Conference on March 23, 2014, in Chicago, Illinois, this trio is scored for trumpet, trombone and piano and composed with the intermediate-level student in mind. A simple two-measure motif becomes the vehicle, providing raw material from which a tapestry of melody, harmony and rhythm are fashioned for our exploration. / Trompette, Trombone Et Piano
