Le but de ce travail est de réunir en une suite logique et en un seul livre une partie de ces exercices et de ces études, que j' ai révisés et annotés, et présentés en cinq parties :
1 - Développement de la technique du coup d'archet
2 - Démanchés ou Changement de positions
3 - Etudes pour une intonation complexe (justesse)
4 - Trémolos, trilles, harmoniques
5 - Exécution de mélodies avec accompagnement, polyrythmie

Arthur Ter-Hovhanisian est né en 1964 à Erevan en Arménie, où il a fait ses études auprès de E. Dayan, lui-même élève de David Oïstrakh.
Membre de l'Orchestre National Symphonique sous la direction de Ruben Aharonian, il enseigne au Conservatoire National d'Arménie, à Erevan, avant d'entrer, en 1994, dans l'Orchestre Symphonique de Russie à Moscou.
En tant que membre de l'orchestre de chambre Serenade (Premier Prix au concours international 'Valentino Bucchi' en 1995), il a participé à plus de 400 concerts en Allemagne, Grèce, Pays-Bas, France, Suisse, Italie et Autriche.
Actuellement membre de l'Orchestre National Symphonique du Liban et passionné de pédagogie, il est professeur de violon au CNSM de Beyrouth / Niveau : 3ème Cycle / méthode - études / Etude / Violon

This Capriccio per violino solo M.S. 54 should be considered as part of the group of short musical dedications that Paganini was in the habit of giving away to friends, colleagues and the personalities he met during his travels. Dated 1828, dedicated to Count Maurizio Dietrichstein, is a truly unique work, not only for the way in which the music is organised (notated on four staves, one for each string) but also because of the way in which it was conceived musically. The concept of polyphony is brought to an extreme level, at least in conceptual and visual terms, in this composition. Its brief structure is reminiscent of a kind of four-part chorale written in score. It is characterised by its lyrical and elegant writing style, where the four voices move in polyphonic fashion, giving birth to an extremely refined harmonic texture. This critical edition is based on the manuscript kept in the Österreichische Nationalbibliothek of Vienna compared with the modern editions. / Niveau : Avancé / Répertoire / Violon

Regarded as the greatest Spanish composer of the 20th century, Manuel De Falla (1876-1946) had a distinctively nationalistic style. His Andalusian influences are clearly seen in his 1915 ballet El Amor Brujo , which is often praised for its originality, while at the same time preserving the beauty of the Andalusian folk themes. The most famous movement of the ballet is Danza Rituel Del Fuego (The Ritual Fire Dance), inspired by the traditional ceremony where people would worship the Fire-God by dancing around and leaping through a fire. Renowned for its exciting trills and ornaments, it has been arranged here for Violin and Piano. / Violon
