Piano Solo Album. Par HEUMANN HANS-GUNTER. Hans-Günter Heumanns Notenalben sind von unseren Klavierpulten nicht mehr wegzudenken. Längst gehören seine Klaviermethoden und Spielbände zum Standardkanon heutiger Unterrichtsliteratur. Gestrandet zwischen Hanon-Etüden, Scarlatti-Sonaten und zweistimmigen Inventionen haben Heumanns Arrangements schon so manchen Hobby-Pianisten vor dem „Hinschmeißen“ bewahrt. Mit unermüdlichem Einsatz ermutigt der renommierte Pädagoge Menschen zum Klavierspiel, ungeachtet ihres Alters oder ihrer musikalischen Vorbildung. Heumann hat den Klavierbegriff gänzlich neu definiert – weg vom Leistungsgedanken und Bildungsdünkel hin zu Spaß und Kreativität. Frei nach der Maxime: Musik ist füralle da. Hiermit leistet er einen entscheidenden Beitrag in der Musikvermittlung, der ihm weit über die Grenzen Deutschlands hinaus Wertschätzung und Anerkennung zu Teil werden lässt. In Zusammenarbeit mit seinem Neffen, Nikita Heumann, einem vielversprechenden Musiker und Produzenten, ist ein neues Werk namens „Piano Flow“ entstanden. Der Begriff „Flow“ umschreibt das völlige Einssein mit dem eigenen Instrument und der Musik: einer Art Glücksrausch vergleichbar. Dementsprechend tragen die 15 Kompositionen Titel, wie etwa „Melody Of Rapture“ (übersetzt: „Melodie der Entrückung“), „Just Breathe“, „Be One With Yourself“, „Pure Awareness“, „True Fulfillment“, „The Power Of Here And Now“ und „Peace And Serenity“. Das Album überzeugt durch anrührend melancholische Stücke von fragiler Ästhetik. Der Notenband ist broschiert. Die Stücke sind von mittlerem Schwierigkeitsgrad und mit etwas Spielpraxis gut zu bewältigen. Similar to his earlier band works Meridian and The Spheres, Serenity is based on a successful choral work. Beautifully arranged by J. Eric Wilson along with the composer, this version for wind band maintains all the wonder and magic of the original work. The opening is ethereal and somber, with sustained chords in clarinets and bowed percussion supporting a delicate oboe solo. The middle section shifts the principal modality from minor to major, and the layering orchestration and rising tessitura creates a tremendous rush of energy that leads to a triumphant climax. Par PART ARVO. Pärt's take on the Te Deum text, also known as the Ambrosian Hymn, employs his signature tintinnabuli style of composition. The melodic lines, as well as their harmonies, strictly follow the rhythms of the text, resulting in heightened importance given to the text itself and an unconventional setting. For advanced players and vocalists. The liturgical text of the Te Deum consists of immutable truths. I am reminded of the sense of immeasurable serenity imparted by a mountain panorama. Swiss artist Martin Ruf once told me that he can distinguish over twenty shades of blue in the mountains when the air is clear. His words immediately turned into sound; I began tohear those blue mountains. I wished only to convey a mood, a mood that could be infinite in time, by delicately removing one piece - one particle of time - out of the flow of infinity. I had to draw this music gently out of silence and emptiness. The work Te Deum was a quest for something evanescent, something long lost or not yet found, the quest for something believed to be non-existent, but so real that it exists not only within us but beyond our being as well.
