pour deux pianos-Milhaud's Suite for two Pianos takes its name from the Theater Scaramouche which specialised in productions aimed at children. The pieces in this suite were written for the Paris International Exposition in 1937 by adapting melodies and music Milhaud had previously composed for production at the Theater.
