These are two beautiful O'Carolan tunes which go very well together. They are both in 6/8 so jig-time. The first should be played a little slower than the second. They are in the key of G, though the second tune is in a modal key. One only needs the F sharp lever. There are no key changes. These pieces have fingering throughout (optional) and some dynamics (optional). Because of the speed of the second jig I reckon one should be of intermediate ability to play this well. Of course with different fingering one could play this on the piano as well.

It isn't terribly fast and it is a matter of taste how fast this should be played. I used to start every reception I played with this tune. After many years I finally wrote down the arrangement. I hope you get to play it as much as I did. If the ornamentation is too challenging play without. I reckon anybody with beginner/intermediate skills can play this. There are no lever changes.It can of course be played on the piano with different fingering. .

Published by Harpoline (A0.912221). This is another beloved tune written by the well loved blind harper Turlough O'Carolan. I have arranged it for lever harp. l I have added all fingering and dynamics. The difficulty is around grade 2 to 4 level. It needs a lever change while playing and the lever needs to be changed back quickly. It also shows some sliding, so 1-1 fingering. But fingering is always optional so if you or your teacher don't like it, change it. The key is G-major so you need to have an F sharp lever, and a C sharp lever for the lever change. You can use it for piano as well.(with different fingering).

She holds a B.A. in Music Education and M.A. in Irish Traditional Music Performance (fiddle, flute, and harp). Her experience as a symphonic musician, ethnic musician, and Film/TV composer led her to combining the three aspects of music into her own compositions and arrangements; storybook music in cinematic style. She is the owner of her recording and publishing label Blue Steer Studios(ASCAP) which allows her to combine her composing skills with knowledge of both the business and publishing aspects of music industry. Winner of a Silver Ace Award from the Las Vegas Film Festival she has composed music for all types of media, including Film/TV, web and advertising, and her own personal music in audio CD and sheet music. In 2021 she took time off from composing to relocate her studio to Eastern Washington (Spokane) and is now getting started on new projects and pursuing music composition full time.
