The celebrated 19th century Scottish novelist, Sir Walter Scott - like Robert Burns (Scotland) and Thomas Moore (Ireland) - took old ballads and folksong melodies, and wrote new lyrics to these traditional melodies, a common practice from at least the 18th century onwards, and right up to the time of W. B. Yeats' The Salley Gardens. Scott adapted the 'border ballad' (old folksongs and ballads from the southern border of Scotland and the north of England), John of Hazel Green (or 'Hazelgreen'), keeping to the 'gist' of the original story about a young woman forced against her will into an arranged marriage with a young wealthy 'squire'; but, she loves 'Jock' (or 'John', and sometimes, 'Jack'!), and so, on her wedding day, she elopes with 'John'/'Jack'/'Jock', escaping 'over the border' (north or south, take your pick!), thus beyond the reach of powerful 'squires' and family! (the small border town of 'Gretna Green' was traditionally the place to elope to, and be guaranteed a swift union without the usual formalities, like the 'posting of bans').

Time is running out as the Queen's cocoon is the only one left from this hatching season. Liya must get to it by sunrise after extensive Parcours where she will be tested. If by sunrise she makes allies, reaches the cocoon, and gets exposed to its inner limelight by singing to it she will grow wings and be able to go back home in better shape than she came in by saving LilYpada however if she fails it will be the end. The song exposes in rhymes the alarming situation juxtaposed by the common sense lyrical Firefly Messengers pledging for cooperation between all creatures including the OooAaas who after all are simply under a spell. The National Anthem of the Republic of China, also known by its incipit Three Principles of the People, is the national anthem of the Republic of China, commonly called Taiwan, as well as the party anthem of the Kuomintang. It replaced the Song to the Auspicious Cloud, which had been used as the Chinese national anthem before. The national anthem was adopted in Taiwan on October 25, 1945 after the surrender of Imperial Japan. Mainland China, being governed by the People's Republic of China today, discontinued this national anthem for March of the Volunteers.The national anthem's words are adapted from a 1924 speech by Sun Yat-sen in 1937. The lyrics relate to how the vision and hopes of a new nation and its people can be achieved and maintained. Informally, the song is sometimes known as San Min Chu-i from its opening line, which references the Three Principles of the People (三民主義; sānmín zhǔyì; san1-min2 chu3-i4), but this name is never used on formal or official occasions. During flag-raising ceremonies, the national anthem is played at the start prior to flag-raising followed by the National Flag Anthem of the Republic of China during actual flag-raising.
