NB: One day I woke up to the realization that I had independently written four choral works, each of which had evoked a different season, and so it seemed natural to group them together into a choral suite that I have called The Ottawa Four Seasons Suite. “Let’s sing, it’s Spring!â€, with its rousing coda, works perfectly as the closing number of this suite.

Then one day when Romeo must text his Julietta just to say I luv ya yeah I luv ya so much but then she rings back to tell him that it's all over she's met a nicer lad from Folkestone or Dover (It's all over it's all over lad from Dover) so he just rings to all of his pals and calls her a slag! and all the people on the tram hear the show while our pretty city folk live all on their mobile then suddenly the battery's flat as a skate and Romeo can not ring his mate he's sorry that he called her slag in spring time he can't ring her he can't ring his Julietta sorry now in spring.

Living, Springs Of Living Water Church Anthem for SATB and Piano composed in 2014. Inspiration While attending Easter Church Service in 2014 I suddenly got the idea for this piece. Throughout the service I kept humming the melody to myself so I wouldn't forget it. By the time I got home I had the entire piece worked out. I quickly wrote it down and within a couple of weeks had the basic structure created. It's rare that this occurs for me but is a testament to the inspiration of God during Easter. The style of the music is somewhat impressionistic with a flowing nature that brings peace to the listener. The lyrics are all biblical; slightly modified. The Music Impressionistic in nature it starts with a gently flowing accompaniment followed by unison voices quietly speaking of the Living Water. After the initial A section the accompaniment changes into a more static but moving style as the lyrics speak to our belief and our needs. This is followed by a dramatic transition to the opening theme now embellished with a sort of question answer back and forth between the words Living and Water with the answer always resolving to the latter word. The piece quietly ends as it began. I will always remember the Easter of 2014 for Gods inspiration that created this piece.

Thanks, John. Spring Can Really Hang You Up the Most (1955) is a popular song with lyrics by Fran Landesman, set to music by Tommy Wolf. The title is a jazz rendition of the opening line of T.S. Eliot's The Waste Land, April is the cruellest month. The song describes how somebody feels sad and depressed despite all the good things associated with spring. The song was featured in the 1959 Broadway musical The Nervous Set, but was written in 1955 before this musical and was incorporated into it.

The lyrics reflect the thoughts of so many of us who wonder what it felt like to those who witnessed the birth and early years of Jesus Christ. The vocal parts are all within normal ranges and of no particular difficulty. The piano accompaniment is of medium difficulty. Meter changes set off the verses from the chorus melody, one verse may be sung a cappella and there is one key change. This is appropriate for both worship services and any public Christmas program venue. Performance time is five minutes. There are two other arrangements on the website, one for vocal solo medium voice and one for two-part women's chorus or duet. The lyricist, Bruce C. Far up the west coast, in Aran and Clare, there's harpers to bring you a magical aire. I listened, enthralled, till the Winter came on, then pulled up my boots - and soon I was gone - searching for fortune for still I had none. And it’s oh! But it’s been a long time! And I hope that we meet again soon. I saw her but once, by the light of the moon. She said she would give me a song with no tune. I rested, by chance, at the close of the day, by a small rounded hill, where I happened to stray. Like many eastern melodies it uses a pentatonic scale. It's often sung in international settings, as a song representative of Japan.I wrote this arrangement at a time when my choir only had a few (not very confident) Tenors and Basses, so wherever possible I put them together.Although it's presented as SATB, it's easy to see that the Ts and Bs support each other!The aim is to combine a feeling of timelessness (the sustained lines of the Ts and Bs) with a blossomy feeling of floaty weightlessness (Ss and As). Si Je Peut T'Aimer details the emotion of love through various seasons from the fruits of Spring to the requiems of Winter, and the roller-coaster rides throughout. Near the end, desperation starts to show, but as acceptance starts to settle in, the music slows and ends with a cadence signifying that it's time to move on.It can be performed by anyone who'd like to use, I have no set audience in mind. It can be performed by schools if they so wish and can be used to show the various displays of emotion that music can display using different methods of composition. However, I would refrain from any sorts of religious service as this is best served as entertainment. In regards to the choir, stagger breathing is highly recommended for the difficult parts, or whenever feels necessary- which could be after ever dotted half note/ measure, or after every phrase. The dynamics are left to the director or the people who shall perform it. This leaves it to be personalised for each group, and unique to each one's own story; I just gave the template. To note: one can replace the choir with another 2 cellos and 2 violins, if desired. It is also important to note that when playing, the choir is the accompaniment to the piano and strings, and serves to reinforce the story that is being told, not explicitly telling the story itself. .

The polka was originally a Czech peasant dance, developed in Eastern Bohemia (now part of Czechoslovakia).Growing up in Pennsylvania, nd playing for various local community bands, VFW bands ,Lion's Band , etc we played the Pa Polka for many functions, churches, Seniors, Cake Walks, 4th of July programs, summer and spring concerts, marching bands, parades, and many more events.The Pennsylvania Polka is such a fun, happy song, in a march tempo beat.
