This chart features the trumpets and saxophones mostly, with a guitar solo as the main feature in the song. The backgrounds for the guitar solo are meant to really rock the party, as the intensity builds and builds as the guitarist continues to wail on his or her solo. Highest note is a high E (concert D) for trumpets. That being said, I'd still say this is an intermediately difficult tune and could be played well be a good high school group. Perfect for learning about the blues and showing off a great guitarist.

There are some x-headed notes - simply clap your hands together on the beat and I am sure the audience will join in - they used to when the Hampshire Guitar Orchestra played it - frequently failing to clap at the right time at all!Guitars 2 and 3 are the easiest lines - perfect for the less-experienced players in a mixed ability group. Guitar 4 has a fun and funky bass line. Guitar 1 goes quite high, but I have presented the notes at pitch and also in 8va notation so that your reading of the “on-the-body-notes†is clear and error-free. This piece for three cellos is built on an insistent and urgent rhythmic ostinato, around which the other two parts bounce mostly short melodic ideas off each other. The technical difficulty is not too high, especially in parts 2 and 3, and would be a good piece for introducing odd meter to intermediate students, as the piece is in 5/4 throughout with fairly consistent rhythmic emphasis.
