Accordion,Double Bass,Guitar - Digital Download SKU: A0.1068892 Composed by Lars Ek. Folk,World. Full Performance. Duration 233. Lars Ek Cosmos Music c/o Musik & Underhållningsskrädderiet AB #1921495. Published by Lars Ek Cosmos Music c/o Musik & Underhållningsskrädderiet AB (A0.1068892). Something quite astonishing has happened in the Swedish accordion world during the last couple of years, we´ve got a new idol. It´s astonishing in two different ways: for us who know the accordion world it´s a fact that Lars Ek has been around as a professional accordionist for almost 20 years, since he finished school, second: he has become an idol playing music and in a style that has it´s roots 50 years back in the accordion music history. One could say that Lars Ek, today 35 years old, should have been 85, active in the 30´s. Himself, he confess that he feels kind of secret longing back to a time when accordionists were equilibrists, when accordionists played in a brilliant way, the golden age it was for all accordion music all over the world, an age that we will never meet again. It´s a type of music which is historical but not belonging to the museums, not dead, it´s a typical of music filled with life. Very much so thanks to Lars Ek. It´s a quite notable situation. Lars Ek has been playing the accordion for a long time, he has been playing all types of music that can be played on an accordion. Just some few years ago he met, via phonograph records, the music of Nils Lind and Ragge Sundquist (two legendary Swedish performers from the 30´s and the 40´s, both dead since long ago - they both founded a school and a style) and, of course, also Frosini. And then, finally, Lars Ek felt that it was exactly here, in this style where he belonged. Lars Ek finally came home. Some sloppy listeners say that Lars Ek is copying the music of Nils Lind. Those are listeners who don´t listen. Others say that Lars is a maniac - he plays on an accordion of the Raggie Sundquist brand from 1937 and since a couple of years he also owns and plays an accordion once owned by Pietro Frosini, manufactured in 1927. That´s not mania. The style asks for such instruments. It´s most correct that way. Lars Ek has become incredibly popular. There are many reasons. He has lots of personality, he is a stage personality, he shows enthusiasm and joy while performing, he knows how to attract an audience (and the girls say he´s very handsome). One other reason is that the music Lars performs finds lots of response from the audience. And, please, don´t think it´s only those old ones who were around in the 30´s who love the music - so do even the young ones! Lars Ek x 2 is the name of the record. The explanation is simple. Lars wasn´t able to find a second accordionist to assist him. So, thanks to the technique he is his own second accordionist himself in five of the tunes performed. There is one more explanation. Lars performs melodies linked to the names of Nils Lind, Ragge Sundquist and Frosini, but he also plays five compositions of hes own. Just to show how he wants accordion music to be composed. Lars Ek does not need any recommendation, his records sell anyway. But you´re going to get some final words. This records is, regarding style, very rare to be recorded in 1982, it´s a matter of looking back and to do so with lots of skill, a look back that golden age of the accordion. It´s also a very personal record. The inspiration may very well be Nils Lind, Ragge Sundquist and Pietro Frosini. But it´s Lars Ek who plays. In his personal way. Which means that this is a record played in a very personal way.

Small Ensemble Medium Voice,Piano Accompaniment,Tenor Saxophone - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.534375 Composed by Paul Wehage. Concert,Contemporary,Holiday,Love,Standards. Score and parts. 41 pages. Musik Fabrik Music Publishing #3396161. Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing (A0.534375). To You for Baritone, Tenor Saxophone and piano is dedicated to the American Baritone Kurt Ollmann, who has done much for the promotion and performance of American music both in the United States and abroad.Whitman’s poem speaks of seeing a stranger and feeling love for this person. In contrast to Poe’s To Helen, which treats a similar subject of a chance meeting of a stranger that the poet loves, Whitman does not idealize his subject but rather pointedly and brutally describes how he sees this person and what feelings (both negative and positive) this contemplation provokes in the poet’s mind In order to reflect this musically, there is an alternation between more introspective and brooding sections which are then followed by more ecstatic outbursts. The piece ends with the poet watching the stranger leave, expressing what the composer felt to be acceptance and release. As in any chamber music with voice, it is important that the two instruments allow the voice to predominate, regardless of the dynamics marked in their parts. The saxophonist should try as much as possible to match colour with the voice,in order to allow the contrapuntal exchanges between the voice and the saxophone to blend evenly. The pianist should play the passages at rehearsal marks E, G and K in a more soloist manner, always taking care not to cover the voice..To YouWhoever you are, I fear you are walking the walks of dreams,I fear these supposed realities are to melt from under your feet and hands,Even now your features, joys, speech, house, trade, manners, troubles, follies, costume, crimes, dissipate away from you,Your true soul and body appear before me.They stand forth out of affairs, out of commerce, shops, work, farms, clothes, the house, buying, selling, eating, drinking, suffering, dying.Whoever you are, now I place my hand upon you, that you be my poem,I whisper with my lips close to your ear.I have loved many women and men, but I love none better than you.O I have been dilatory and dumb,I should have made my way straight to you long ago,I should have blabb'd nothing but you, I should have chanted nothingbut you.I will leave all and come and make the hymns of you,None has understood you, but I understand you,None has done justice to you, you have not done justice to yourself,None but has found you imperfect, I only find no imperfection in you,None but would subordinate you, I only am he who will never consentto subordinate you,I only am he who places over you no master, owner, better, God,beyond what waits intrinsically in yourself.Painters have painted their swarming groups and the centre-figure of all,From the head of the centre-figure spreading a nimbus of gold-color'd light,But I paint myriads of heads, but paint no head without its nimbusof gold-color'd light,From my hand from the brain of every man and woman it streams, effulgently flowing forever.O I could sing such grandeurs and glories about you!You have not known what you are, you have slumber'd upon yourselfall your life,Your eyelids have been the same as closed most of the time,What you have done returns already in mockeries,(Your thrift, knowledge, prayers, if they do not return inmockeries, what is their return?)The mockeries are not you,Underneath them and within them I see you lurk,I pursue you where none else has pursued you,Silence, the desk, the flippant expression, the night, theaccustom'd routine, if these conceal you from others or fromyourself, they do not conceal you from me,The shaved face, the unsteady eye, the impure complexion, if thesebalk others they do not balk me,The pert apparel, the deform'd attitude, drunkenness, greed, premature death, all these I part aside. There is no endowment in man or woman that is not tallied in you,There is no virtue,.

Large Ensemble Cello,Double Bass,Viola,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.889436 Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by Luis Anjos Teixeira. Baroque,Concert,Contemporary,Easter,Standards. Score and parts. 11 pages. Luis Anjos Teixeira #4737807. Published by Luis Anjos Teixeira (A0.889436). The cantata „Gottes Zeit ist die allerbeste Zeit, BWV 106- „God`s Time Is The Very Best Time, ranks among Bach's most important works. It is a work of genius such as even great masters seldom achieve. The Actus tragicus belongs to the great musical literature of the world. Although Bach's manuscript is lost, the work is agreed to be one of the earliest Bach cantatas, probably composed during the year he spent in Mühlhausen 1707/1708 as organist of theDivi Blasil church, at the age of 22. Various funerals known to have taken place at this time have been proposed as the occasion for the composition, for example that of his uncle Tobias Lämmerhirt from his mother's family, who died inErfurt on 10 August 1707, and that of Adolph Strecker, a former mayor of Mühlhausen, whose funeral was 16 September 1708. The earliest surviving manuscript, in the hand of Christian Friedrich Penzel, was copied in 1768 after Bach's death. It introduced the title Actus tragicus. The cantata was published in 1876 as part of the first complete edition of Bach's works: the Bach-Gesellschaft-Ausgabe, edited by Wilhelm Rust. The text consists of different Bible passages from the Old and New Testament, as well as individual verses of hymns by Martin Lither and Adam Reusner, which all together refer to finiteness, preparation for death and dying. The Arrangement is relatively easy to perform, also appropriate for beginners. It is an ideal piece for advanced performers, this music touches deep into the Soul. The piece was arranged for modern instruments, I introduced some embellishments and interpretation symbols thus shortening the length of some notes, but no notes where otherwise changed or omitted in this arrangement. Also the original placement of the voices is totally respected, the structure of the piece was simply left as it was composed in its original form. Bach scored the instrumental parts for a small ensemble of Baroque instruments two recorders, two violas da gamba and continuo. I propose an interpretation for a modern string orquestra or a string quintet in this arrangement. You should feel Free to apply in this piece the Art and technic that expresses entirely your individual skills, Your taste and Soul. If the orquestra only has one double bass I would recommend you to reenforce the bass with a cello. It can be very well performed by a „string quintet- a string quartet with a double bass. Have fun! It is a piece that can be used in many different kinds of situations, in a serious concert hall, or a funeral, in Easter or even Christmas celebrations and all other kinds of Spiritual events. When performed Live It will give you back a great feedback from the public, you will always want to have it in your repertoire. The score was written on Finale. The sound file was produced with samplers from Garritan and conceived merely as an audio support for the presentation of this score. Thank you very much for taking your time to read this text and to listen to the file. I hope you have a lot of fun and enjoy the music. Sheers! Luis Anjos Teixeira Thanks to Claudia Eppelt for the all the Love, the wonderful painting and cover design. Special Thanks to Johann Sebastian Bach, Stray Dog Nina, Stray Queen Mimi, Carlinhos, Maria Pontinha, Maria Joaninha, Schwarzenegger, Maria Koboldinha. For all Living beings on Earth, for all our Ancestors, Thank You for all of You All Your Love and Compassion. Love Forever. Luis Anjos Teixeira

Lars Ek Cosmos Music c/o Musik & Underhållningsskrädderiet AB #1921499. Published by Lars Ek Cosmos Music c/o Musik & Underhållningsskrädderiet AB (A0.1068894).

Published by Deborah Johnson (A0.1068169). Instrumental background track for sing-a-long. Beautiful love ballad, music and lyrics by Deborah Johnson. First written as a part of the musical, One Little Kiss, this is a folk-style jazz arrangement that can be performed as a solo or duet. In the score is the sparse secondary piano part, played two octaves apart, and the guitar solo. It has become a favorite in live performances. The song is available for download on the album The Hero Inside. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FKQ4HT4/ for individual songs and https://DJWorksMusic.com/products for full CD album. Full video of the song at http://youtu.be/KP78n2T168oIt can be performed with or without the duet, which is written mostly in octaves. It can also be performed very effectively with just guitar. The piano transcription is mostly at the intermediate level and the vocal range for the solo in this version is between a low E (below middle C) to a mid-A. It can easily be transposed up a key or two, depending on the singer.DEBORAH JOHNSON, is a National Recording Artist, Composer, Speaker and published Author. Brass Ensemble Bass Trombone,Euphonium,Horn,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1297452 Composed by Felix Bartholdy Mendelssohn. Arranged by Shinya Ishida. 19th Century,Classical,Wedding. Score and Parts. 31 pages. BitNotes.jp #887509. Published by BitNotes.jp (A0.1297452). The Wedding March is a delightful composition by the German composer Felix Mendelssohn, originally conceived as part of the incidental music for William Shakespeare's play A Midsummer Night's Dream. This enchanting piece comes to life during the wedding scene, set on a magical night where fairies revel and four young lovers, along with the Fairy King and Queen, find themselves entangled in the mischief of a love potion, ultimately celebrating two joyous unions.Composed in 1842, this piece gained widespread recognition when it was performed alongside Wagner's Bridal Chorus at the wedding of Prince Friedrich of Prussia and Princess Victoria of the United Kingdom in 1858. Since then, it has remained a timeless classic and a staple in weddings and joyous celebrations worldwide. We have meticulously transcribed this iconic wedding composition for a brass ensemble featuring ten musicians (3 trumpets, 3 horns, 3 trombones, and 1 tuba). For those seeking to add an extra layer of grandeur to their performance, optional percussion instruments (cymbals and triangle) can be seamlessly incorporated. It's worth noting that the Bass Trombone part can be played on the Euphonium as well, offering flexibility to the ensemble. Given the piece's length and multiple repetitions, individual performers can consider omitting repeats or making cuts to suit the performance scene and endurance levels.Elevate your special occasion with this timeless masterpiece, the Wedding March, expertly arranged for brass ensemble. It's the perfect choice to add a touch of elegance and magic to your wedding or celebratory event.

Choral Choir - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1262540 Composed by Matthew Nunes. A Cappella,Chamber,Classical,Contemporary. Octavo. 60 pages. Matthew Nunes Music #855564. Published by Matthew Nunes Music (A0.1262540). Listen to this piece here     During the spring of 2014 four of Jupiter’s moons captured my imagination with their distinctive features as well as the powerful myths associated with each name. For Europa, Ganymede, Callisto, and Io the musical ideas I would use for each became clearer the more I researched. I chose a mixed choir to convey these ideas as the human voice can convey the awe and unknown of space more convincingly than most instruments. Each movement is intended as a vignette evoking what impacted me the most about each moon: I. Europa     Able to drive Jupiter wild with her beauty, Europa was stolen away by the god and proved bountiful to her captor. The moon may have the potential to support life and is now a primary target of our scientific efforts. This movement celebrates this vitality with driving rhythms supporting a soothing melodic line. II. Ganymede      This movement is a lament for the youth and beauty that once had male and female lovers pining for Ganymede. The moon that shares his name, however, has lost its youth and has been declared geologically dead. Written for the males of the chorus this movement features stacking triads and evokes our past where the highest and most beautiful male voices were adored.  III. Callisto      Nearly killed by her own son after Hera (Jupiter’s wife) spitefully transformed her into a bear, Callisto was a beautiful nymph who Jupiter set amongst the stars as Ursa Major. The moon itself has had its share of harm: in the heavy bombardment period it was impacted multiple times by large objects, the many craters of which are visible. I wrote this movement as if it were a reassuring lullaby and is to be performed by the female voices. A solo oboe* carries the melody over thick chords and is later intertwined with the choir.         - *While oboe is the original intent for this movement a flute or violin would make for an acceptable substitution. IV. Io     Io is a woman who suffered greatly under Jupiter’s lust and the bitterness of Hera’s jealousy. This moon represents the frustrations of suffering with its hundreds of active volcanoes and undying rumblings beneath the surface. Because of this it is one of the most tumultuous objects in our galaxy.  The choir churns forth with motives based off of diminished chords until the pressure built up can no longer be contained – eruption is imminent.- Matthew NunesWindsor, August 2014.

David Kai #708357. Published by David Kai (A0.1105110). A song for Good Friday. Scripture reference: John 15:13. No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. NO GREATER LOVE words and music by David Kai ©1985 A chilly wind blows upon Calvary's hill, the sky is as dark as the night, the sweat and the blood trickle down to the ground, as the townspeople gaze at the sight, And the hands that once held the children near are nailed onto the tree, Why did you have to suffer that for me? They beat him until he could hardly stand, a crown of thorns pierced his head, and all of that time not a single word in his defense he said, And I stood within that angry crowd that jeered along the way, for I helped to put you on the cross that day. CHORUS For the man on the cross filled with sorrow and pain, will bring us to God once again, for no greater love has been shown since that day when the Saviour took our sins away. For all of my life your boundless love I want to get to know, 'though sometimes I've turned my back on you and I’ve heard the rooster crow, but then you've appeared just like a friend to guide my wandering way, no longer on the cross, you're here today. The Light of the World, the Bread of Life, the Son of God, Morning Star, my earthly mind can't comprehend all of the things you are, but even through glass that's dark and dim, my eyes can plainly see, you loved us so much you died to set us free. CHORUS For the man on the cross filled with sorrow and pain, will bring us to God once again, for no greater love has been shown since that day when the Savior took our sins away. No greater love, no there's no greater love, No greater love, no there's no greater love, There's no greater love than to lay down your life for a friend.

Duration 235. Anastace #1054994. Published by Anastace (A0.1477614). As of this publishing, over 140,000 people have found my one video collection of funeral hymns on YouTube, not including separate postings of each individual song. Because of this it's been on my mind for a long time to write a funeral song, but it was somehow just never the right time until just a few weeks ago when this one came pouring out in 5 minutes flat [which does not happen often, I can assure you!]. The culmination of years of playing for funerals, a bachelor degree in theology and sacred music, and many more years of writing and playing music through good times and also times full of grief, Lord of All Our Days is my very best and heartfelt attempt to serve those who are also dealing with the absolute heartache of loss, be it the acute, fresh grieving of just losing someone or the flashbacks that come time and time again, years and even decades later. This song carefully and tenderly handles the true earth-shaking grief that it is to lose someone you love, while holding out a strong hope of the life to come for those who trust God. I had a very difficult time recording it without being moved to tears over and over, and I pray it will reach many in need of comfort, being of service to anyone who is looking for a Christian, Biblical funeral hymn for a memorial service or a celebration of life service. Also available, by searching Stacey Plays Hymns and the song title on this site, is an accompaniment track with the full backup vocals as well as the following sheet music versions:Piano Vocal in Bb Minor to match the original recording [vocal range: Bb3-Bb4]Piano Vocal in C Major for easier playing and a better congregational vocal rangeLead Sheet for piano or guitar in C Major - best key for singing without a capoLead Sheet in G minor for piano or guitar [play capo 3 or more to match the original key]For other formats including large print, a different key to match a soloist's preferred range, or piano solo for a matching prelude or postlude, please write me at staceyplayshymns@gmail.com and I'll be glad to make them especially for you. Purchase includes a free license for one funeral or memorial service with under 1000 people, with proper attribution and credit in all printed or online materials. For a license to use this work on a larger scale, please contact me for permission and other usage details including lyrics formatted for printing in church bulletins or for powerpoint. Please let me know if there is any other way I can serve you as a congregation or fellow music/choir director as I endeavour to write several new choral anthems per year, along with my other recording work.Thank you for supporting modern hymnwriters and musicians!

Also available, by searching Stacey Plays Hymns and the song title on this site, is an accompaniment track with only piano (instead of this one with the full choral backup vocals) as well as the following sheet music options:Piano Vocal in Bb Minor to match the original recording [vocal range: Bb3-Bb4]Piano Vocal in C Major for easier playing and a better congregational vocal rangeLead Sheet for piano or guitar in C Major - best key for singing without a capoLead Sheet in G minor for piano or guitar [play capo 3 or more to match the original key] For other formats including large print, a different key to match a soloist's preferred range, or piano solo for a matching prelude or postlude, please write me at staceyplayshymns@gmail.com and I'll be glad to make them especially for you.
