Bremner's original 1780 London publication and also arranged by Hugo Riemann, and again wrongly attributed to Giovanni Pergolesi.It is actually made up of 3 different pieces: Gallo's 2nd Trio Sonata in Bb. Mvts I and III, and Trio Sonata No 8 in EbAll 3 Gallo mvts were used by Igor Stravinsky in the 3rd mvt. Scherzinoof his Neo Classical Pulcinella Suite. The Pulcinella Suite for small chamber orchestra and 3 vocalists which was derived from the ballet, was written in 1922 and has no vocal parts. But even though Stravinsky used Pergolesi's(which were in this case Gallo's) melodies and bass lines with little change, he managed to put his own unmistakable stamp on the music through his use of modern harmonies and occasional rhythmic modifications.These are transcriptions of the original pieces,They are interesting to play and  do not sound too dissimilar to Stravinsky's final work.

Corporon.The hauntingly beautiful opening theme is played by the Violas with accompaniment by Cello and Bass. When the melody is restated it is doubled in Violin 1 and Violin 2 joins the accompaniment. The equally sonorous second theme is played by Violin 2. Each instrument has a substantial part to play in this excellent adaption of the Beethoven sonata. The arrangement remains in the original key of Ab Major.This arrangement is dedicated to Dr. Michael Rickman, Professor Emeritus at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. SONATA No. 1 in A MAJOR SONATA No. 2 in E MINOR SONATA No. 3 in D MAJOR Written for 2 equal instruments these sonatas bring pleasure to players of intermediate standard and above whilst developing their independent playing skills. Each sonata has 4 movements slow and fast alternating in the same key. The six opus 8 sonatas were published in Paris in 1725 for ‘deux Flûtes-Transversiere sans Basse’. They were published ‘Avec Privilége du Roy.’ They were printed as a playing score preceeded by a title page which also gave details of where to obtain copies - L’Auter, Le Sr. Boivin & Le Sr. Le Clere. A copy of the Privilége du Roy. granted by King Louis on March 22nd 1724 was printed in full on the second page. It is highly likely that the sonatas would have been played by pairs of oboes or violins or possibly by bassoons or cellos according to the players available in the homes of the wealthy amateur players who could afford to buy music. The flute parts were printed in the soprano clef - with G on the bottom line. This would have been convenient for flute players who often also played bassoon when required and were often not keyboard players. This edition uses the modern bass clef and has a score plus separate parts to facilitate page turns. In editing the sonatas the presentation of the music has been modernised.

Title of the 12 Sonatas: 12 Suonati a violino o cimbalo meaning: 12 Sonatas for violin and cello or harpsichord.No 8 in E minor is my favourite Corelli Sonata. Original key, matching the original violin part. I have performed this Sonata with violin with both guitar and cello with the included parts (see video). Here is supplied: Cello melody, Cello accompaniment (continue bass), Guitar accompaniment (according to the figured bass - like the harpsichord part), Facsimile of the edition by Joseph Joachim (1888 - 1891). The first print (Rome on the 1st of January 1700) was quite messy, Joachim published a very neat edition of the same, which is here included. This edition includes violin and cello parts in Duo form. Bowing and ornament suggestions are added. This Trio Sonata was composed around 1719 for 2 violins or flutes or oboes and cello or harpsichord. The four movements, Andante, Allegro, Largo and Allegro are typical of the other opus 2 sonatas and provide interesting parts for all three players. Players of intermediate standard and above will enjoy the musical challenge. All editing is clearly indicated using dashed lines and parentheses ( ). Some changes of register have been made- mostly moving the flute part up an octave to balance the oboe part and avoid middle C which would not have been available on most flutes of the period. Handel's dynamic markings are very sparse and I have refrained from adding more than a few very obvious ones as there are so many possibilities and it is so much more satisfying for players to decide for themselves.

This arrangement adapted for Bb and Eb clarinet duo was designed to make its listeners weep with emotion, because the adaptation preserves the original essence of the work, keeping its integrity faithful to what Beethoven wanted to transmit, with only a slight change in tone and addition of harmonic resources in the structure of the arrangement. Even though it is a funeral march, it is well suited for any musical performance occasion, being intended for beginner students who want to immerse themselves in the universe of romantic music, and nothing better than starting with the transitional composer of this period, which also does not prevent professional teachers from using it for recitals, academic presentations or didactic material in their classes as an ensemble practice. Ludwig van Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 14 in C minor sharp, Op. 27, No. 2, is one of his most popular compositions and was an audience favorite even in his day. Written when Beethoven was 31, the Moonlight Sonata (Mondscheinsonate in German) was composed after he finished some commissioned works, but there is no evidence that he was hired to write this work. It did not receive its nickname until 1832, five years after Beethoven's death. It was the critic Ludwig Rellstab who compared the music to a moonlighting on Lake Lucerne. This comparison was adopted as a nickname for the work. Called Quasi una fantasia by the author - like its companion Op. 27, No. 1 - the piece was completed in 1801 and dedicated the following year to one of the composer's pupils. Beethoven chose to open the sonata with a slow, hypnotic arpeggio movement, the best known of the entire work. The dotted rhythm of its minimal melody evokes the tradition of 'Trauermusik' (funeral music).
