Flute and Piano - very easy - Digital Download Shortest Easy Pieces. Composed by Emil Kronke. This edition: Sheet music. Schott Student Edition - Repertoire. Downloadable. Op. 210. Schott Music - Digital #Q45874. Published by Schott Music - Digital
German - English - French.
Emil Kronke (1865-1938), a composer of the German late Romantic era, has unjustly fallen into oblivion until today. As a pianist and piano teacher, he primarily composed works for his principal instrument. In addition, he wrote several works for flute which look back on a rich tradition in Dresden, his adopted home town and sphere of activity for many years. Apart from virtuoso salon music, he also composed easier pieces like Kolibris Op. 201 from 1931.
The six appealing miniatures with easy piano accompaniment are little didactic pieces which can be used even by young flutists of today to develop their technique and their style. Furthermore, they sound so beautiful as to certainly bring a good mood into the classroom, yet are also suitable for pupils' concerts and competitions. May the Kolibris continue to fly in the following generations and be played by young musicians with joy and imagination.
This edition is part of the new Schott Student Edition series which offers varied literature at five different levels of difficulty, from 1 (easy) to 5 (difficult), for instrumental lessons.

Flute and piano - easy to intermediate - Digital Download This edition: Sheet music. Downloadable. Op. 2. Schott Music - Digital #Q54939. Published by Schott Music - Digital
This second volume of flute pieces, too, is based on today's flute teaching practice, containing arrangements from the classical repertoire as well as own compositions by Gü.nther Johannes Schmitz. The pieces are quite different with regard to style, partly influenced by jazz, Impressionism, world music or film music. 'Das Mä.usefest' contains stylistic elements of Jewish music, 'Zyklop' combines oriental and impressionist sounds. 'Fanfare der Gaukler', however, evokes medieval sound associations mixed with modern playing techniques on the flute. 'Ragtime Holiday' and 'The Conquerer' were inspired by the King of Ragtime, Scott Joplin. A jazz version of Rimsky-Korsakov's 'The Flight of the Bumble Bee' is an interesting encore and contained herein as is Bach's Badinerie. Some of the pieces have already been performed at the competition 'Jugend musiziert' and have proven a success.

Flute and Piano - easy to intermediate - Digital Download Composed by William Popp. This edition: Sheet music. Schott Student Edition - Repertoire. Downloadable. Schott Music - Digital #Q45583. Published by Schott Music - Digital
This edition contains three beautiful and rather easy performance pieces which have been selected from the large number of pieces by Wilhelm Popp (1828-1902) in a Romantic concert style.
Cantabile and virtuoso passages were always arranged specifically for the instrument by the court flutist (and pianist) of the court theatre of the Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.
This edition is part of the new Schott Student Edition series which offers varied literature at five different levels of difficulty.

Flute,Piano - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.549686 Composed by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Arranged by James M. Guthrie, ASCAP. Children,Christmas,Romantic Period,Standards. Score and part. 14 pages. Jmsgu3 #3520291. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.549686). Duration: ca. 1:42, 52 measures, Score: 7 pages, solo part: 2 pages, piano part: 4 pages. A popular Christmas favorite from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite. Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky Tchaikovsky is probably the most popular of the great composers in America. His music certainly appeals to musicians. Likewise, it appeals even to folks who don’t normally listen to serious music. This is probably because of his most noteworthy melodies. Above all, he writes with great emotion. This certainly makes a most noteworthy if not an unforgettable impact. Education First of all, He attended classes at the Russian Musical Society. Even more, He also attended the St. Petersburg Conservatory. There he studied music theory with Nikolai Zaremba. He also consequently studied composition with Anton Rubenstein. It seems like Rubenstein came under criticism from a group of Russian composers known as the Five. The Five The Five certainly rejected Western musical influences. They rather sought to use elements from Russian music. They furthermore wanted to use more exotic musical materials. Western Techniques More than other Russian composers, Tchaikovsky studied modern Western music. He certainly develops his music like the European masters. So, rather than repeating a motive, he moves to a new key. He then introduces a different theme in the new key. Hence, he maintained his independence from the Five. Even more, he became the first Russian composer of international stature. Influences Tchaikovsky was probably influenced in his ballet scoring by Léo Delibes. Richard Wagner influenced his symphonic writing. Tchaikovsky’s most famous works include the 1812 Overture, The Nutcracker Suite, and Swan Lake. Also famous are the Violin Concerto in D and the six symphonies. The greatest of the six symphonies may be No. 6, the Pathétique. Nutcracker Suite, Op. 71a The Nutcracker Suite is a ballet that was performed for the first time in December 1892 in St. Petersburg. To begin with, the original ballet failed to attract a positive reception. However, the ballet suite became probably one of the most popular of all of Tchaikovsky’s works. The ballet suite became even more famous in the 1960s. It is now performed all over the world, particularly during the Christmas season.

Jmsgu3 #3518965. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.549664). Score: 10 pages: solo part: 3 pages, piano part: 6 pages. Duration: 2:22. This famous selection from the Nutcracker Suite is a classic Christmas program favorite.

Instrumental Duet,Piano Flute,Piano - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.790003 Composed by Richard Rodgers. Arranged by W. Brent Sawyer. Broadway,Musical/Show. Score and part. 18 pages. Diamond S Music #3533731. Published by Diamond S Music (A0.790003). THIS NEARLY WAS MINE from South Pacific. For FLUTE SOLO AND PIANO ACCOMPANIMENT (with optional Double Bass). This beautiful and exciting arrangement is from the beloved Rodgers & Hammerstein ground-breaking 1949 Broadway musical, South Pacific. This arrangement begins very simply with the soloist unaccompanied. Then the piano comes in with a dream-like delicacy with expands into a rich and lush accompaniment. The bridge gets a little spicier with a jazz waltz feel and then expands back to a warmth before a final key change that turns into a big theatrical ending. This is sure to be a real crowd pleaser. The piano accompaniment is quite difficult but there are alternate passages included to simplify the most difficult passages. There is an optional BASS part included that would add to the performance. There is no drum part included, but a drummer could easily improvised from the Bass part which would add a lot as well.
