Apparently, while composing the piece, the company's bookkeeper asked Johnson what the piece was called; the bookkeeper was carrying a carton of pickles for his dinner, which prompted to Johnson to say I'll call it Dill Pickles Rag. for clarinet in Bb and guitar, score and part (with clarinet in A part / clarinet in Bb an guitar Capo I)

It’s rather fun too!The lovely chord sequences and the need for controlled articulation make this a delightful piece for any intermediate duo.I have added a few dynamics (but feel free to change them if you wish), and some suggested fingerings for the guitar part.
