La collection ANACROUSE offre aux pianistes novices et confirmés un large choix d’œuvres classiques, allant de la Renaissance à l’époque moderne.<br><br>Proposer tout à la fois des « incontournables » du répertoire classique et des pièces de compositeurs parfois oubliés, toutes d’une valeur pédagogique indéniable, tels sont les objectifs que nous nous sommes fixés. Chaque pièce, vendue à l’unité, a fait l’objet d’un travail éditorial attentif, tant sur le plan de l’établissement du texte musical que de sa gravure, afin de garantir aux musiciens les conditions indispensables aux plaisirs tirés du commerce fréquent de ces œuvres.<br><br>Les partitions sont proposées sous la forme d’ouvrages traditionnels (feuillets papier), et disponibles également par téléchargement.<br><br><br><br>En 1836, le compositeur Félicien David édite les « Mélodies orientales ». Elles comptent au total vingt et une pièces dont dix-huit ont été rééditées en 1845 sous le titre « Brises d'Orient » et trois autres sous le titre « Les Minarets ». Lorsqu'elles sortent, ces mélodies n'obtiennent pas un grand succès. Deux raisons peuvent l'expliquer. D'une part, un incendie détruit une partie des stocks de partitions imprimées. D'autre part, le public, qui avait aimé les « Orientales » du poète Victor Hugo et les « Pestiférés de Jaffa » du peintre Eugène Delacroix, ne semblait pas être attiré par l'orientalisme musical.<br>Les brises d'Orient possèdent la puissance des charmes orientaux plutôt doux. Le compositeur traduit à merveille l'atmosphère orientale en marquant les rythmes par des basses étonnantes.<br>Plus que des formes traditionnelles, ce qu'il faut retenir de ces pièces est le fait qu'elles racontent de belles histoires avec toujours une dynamique très réussie de passages lents et de passages vifs et rapides. `L'Almée` (danseuse égyptienne) en est un très bon exemple avec une introduction si lyrique que l'on s'attend à l'apparition d'une diva. Mais surprise, un développement harmonieux calme les esprits. Et jusqu'à la conclusion les reprises du thème très rythmé alternent avec ceux du développement lent.<br>Venez découvrir un compositeur digne des grands maîtres de peinture orientale. My goal in making this arrangement was driven by curiosity to know how this song would sound in its homonymous key (E major). To me, this version in E major seems to have a lighter and calmer atmosphere, while still maintaining some of the nostalgic, melancholic, and introspective atmosphere of the original version.

La acogida del público se debe no solo a lo novedoso de la tonada sino quizá a varias otras razones. El dúo combinaba la restallante voz de Celina, como se la ha llamado, con el sonido producido por Reutilio, que parecÃa provenir no de una sino de dos o más guitarras. Vale la pena ahondar un poco sobre esto último. En los tradicionales dúos y trÃos de punto cubano y son montuno generalmente se utilizaban dos guitarras, o una guitarra y otro instrumento de cuerdas. Un músico tocaba la llamada guitarra prima, o sea, los tonos agudos, como es el caso de Miguel Matamoros en su trÃo, mientras que un segundo guitarrista ‘bordoneaba’, es decir, marcaba los tonos bajos, como hacÃa Rafael Cueto con sus famosos ‘tumbaos’ en el TrÃo Matamoros. This piece is a free adaptation and a complete reworking of a study by Felix Le Couppey (1811-1887), from his L'Agilité, Opus 20, 25 Progressive Studies for Mechanism and Light Touch. In its original form, this study was a charming little piece of musical fluff. But getting it up to speed reduced me to tears! It also gave me an epiphany of immense power that transformed my technique. Suddenly I could play faster than I had ever thought possible, and I could do so with a thrilling ease! This epiphany emerged from the spluttering frustration I felt over my inability to play these sixteenth notes at Le Couppey's metronome marking of 144. It dawned on me that I couldn’t play fast enough because I was tripping over my own fingers when I used the overly articulated technique of moving the fingers by the lift, throw, relax method. This superfluous motion creates an impenetrable barrier, a speed wall, as does playing legato scales by passing the thumb under the palm, when shifting hand position up and down the keyboard. So I found another way-which I’ve since learned was known to every pianist who ever achieved prodigious speed. Here’s how to bring this piece up to speed with ease: Be sure to practice this piece with each hand alone. For each group of sixteenth notes, gently place the four fingers down simultaneously, to get the feel. Think of your arm, from elbow to fingertips, as something like a kitchen utensil, such as a spatula. Moving your right arm as a unit, place your finger tips down into the key bed, depressing all four notes at once, as a block chord. Make sure that all the fingers remain stiff (not rigid with tension, but just stiff enough to resist collapsing upwards.) Slowly lift and then play each group by placing all the fingers down with a rotation of your forearm, calm and relaxed, with the fingers rolling through the notes at the speed of a brief snare drum roll: Rrrrip! To rip through this group of notes like this takes no more effort than to place those four fingers down, calmly, all at once! Then, with a quick shift up or down the keyboard to get into position for the next group, that’s the whole trick for playing such passages with astonishing speed and ease! It takes time and effort to get the knack here, but the result can be transformative and thrilling! As for my adaptation of this study, I believe it offers intermediate advanced players the chance to enjoy a great leap in technique like the one I experienced, and also offers a piece of music that one might not blush to play outside the practice room-perhaps bringing it at least into the living room for a soirée, if not into the concert hall. To make this adaptation, I wrote a grumbly bass line with lungs, and nice fat chords to flesh out most of the skinny little triads that accompany the original study’s fast passages. I added a brooding, chromatic introduction that features as a melody the accompanimental figure of a broken triad that Le Couppey wrote a few times on the second page, in various inversions. I employed this broken chord figure several more times in both hands, and also added a little coda, sprinkled with sparkle. Playing time is about 1 minute and 30 seconds.

ISMN 979-0-800277-00-9.David Fraser wrote the first 41 measures of â??Rhapsody No. 1â?? in 1997 and subsequently completed this piece and all other works in this volume over the course of six months in 2019. When playing the original 41 measures of â??Rhapsody No. 1â?? in 2019, Fraser noted that the music had some resemblance to works by Sergei Rachmaninoff. This encouraged Fraser to compose the remainder of this piece in a manner reminiscent of Rachmaninoff and, consequently, author a suite of solo piano pieces as homages to some of his favorite composers. In Rachmaninoffâ??s famous â??Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Op. 43â??, variation 18, the composer uses an upside-down inversion of a small melody by Paganini. Similarly, Fraser uses a backwards inversion of a small melody from Rachmaninoffâ??s variation for the Rhapsodyâ??s â??Adagioâ? section, which starts on Page 3.Le Cynge noir {The Black Swan} is the second piece Fraser authored, dedicated to his beloved piano composer, Maurice Ravel. In this piece, Fraser wrote in his own style while evoking images such as a swan gliding on a lake, peering at its reflection in the water, and taking flight into the clouds with its wings rustling in the wind. Fraser gleaned inspiration for this piece from Ravelâ??s song for voice and piano â??Histoires naturelles - Le cygneâ??, set to a poem by Jules Renard. In addition, Fraser alternates between the keys of C-sharp major and A major as a depiction of the magical swanâ??s internal conflict in choosing to exist as a black or white swan.Fraserâ??s third composition is â??Sonata No.1 Gothicâ??, dedicated to Sergei Prokofiev, not as a representation of this genre of music, but in form. The composition unfolds with the allusion of the sun glimmering on ocean waves, followed by the playfulness of eddies and gusts of wind. These themes merge into one another as the wind increases in ferocity, culminating in the start of a storm with sudden strikes of lightning preceded by the reverberation of thunder. The pitter-patter of rain on the water steadily evolves into a full tempest that engulfs the middle section of the piece. As the storm subsides and the ocean calms, night has fallen and the twinkling of stars in the firmament are reflecting upon the water. The piece ends with the return of the opening theme as the sun swiftly rises above the ocean on the horizon.Prelude No. 1 L'adieu {The Farewell} offers rich and lush harmonies with an enticing melody. This piece was written in memoriam to Fraser's mother.

Autor y compositor de la célebre danza Negrita.Este bambuco es tema de discusión por algunos estudiosos e investigadores musicales, los cuales suponen que este bambuco es original del maestro antioqueño Carlos Vieco OrtÃz por su estilo y forma melódica y armónica. Púes en algún momento tuvo un encuentro con este buen cantante, al cual le confió uno de sus cuadernos con sus obras para estudiarlas, y luego fue devuelto lamentablemente con algunas páginas arrancadas de dicho libro; a lo cual el maestro Vieco no mostró disgusto, ni hizo reclamo, dada su pacÃfica actitud y tranquilo temperamento.Algunos se basan en un sugestivo tÃtulo del pasillo de Carlos Vieco llamado: Saltando PolÃnes. A lo que el investigador Javier Gutiérrez Villegas afirma que:...No todas las canciones de Vieco tuvieron ese origen trascendente ni fueron estrenadas con solemnidad. Y dejando a un lado la actitud circunspecta, nos relata el nacimiento del pasillo Saltando polines: en 1932, plena guerra con el Perú, se juntaron en La Bastilla Alberto Ãngel Vallejo el aplaudido barÃtono, Roberto Muñoz Londoño, educador y poeta, y él. Se encontraban en ruinosa situación y planearon una gira que los sacarÃa de afanes. Imaginábamos montañas de plata, apunta don Carlos, con la voz maravillosa de Alberto, con las declamaciones de Muñoz Londoño y con mis interpretaciones al piano. Escogimos a Cisneros para comenzar. En pleno auge el Ferrocarril de Antioquia, aquella población era centro populoso y muy importante. Pues a la primera función asistieron el cura y el alcalde ya la segunda no fue nadie. Con los gastos de transporte, de hotel, de cartelerÃa, nos quedamos en la pura inopia. Con unas monedas sobrantes compramos pasaje de tercera para Muñoz Londoño que se encontraba enfermo y Ãngel Vallejo y yo resolvimos regresar a MedellÃn, saltando polines. Iniciamos la aventura y cuando llevábamos buen trecho apareció una máquina del Ferrocarril que transportaba veteranos para la guerra y nos recogieron. Y en esta forma, hacinados pero felices, pusimos fin a la correrÃa. C.). Es parte de una inscripción griega escrita en una columna de mármol puesta sobre la tumba que habÃa hecho construir SÃcilo para su esposa Euterpe, cerca de Trales (en Asia Menor), actual ciudad de Aydın, a unos 30 km de la ciudad costera de Éfeso (en TurquÃa) y datada en el siglo I aproximadamente. El autor es anónimo. El tema de El Epitafio de Seikilos (en griego Ἐπιτάφιος τοῦ Σεικίλου), es inscripción funeraria grabada hacia el siglo I en una columna de mármol. Bonita inscripción puesta sobre la tumba que habÃa hecho construir un tal SÃcilo (o Seikilos) para su esposa Euterpe en la actual ciudad de Aydın (en TurquÃa). Actualmente se encuentra en un museo en Dinamarca. La inscripción y su particular descripción de su musicalidad están precedidas por el siguiente texto:Soy una imagen de piedra. Seikilos me pone aquÃ, donde soy por siempre, señal de eterno recuerdo. El epitafio consta de este texto, sobre el que se anota la melodÃa cuya lÃnea intermedia recoge la pronunciación aproximada en griego koiné: Brilla, mientras estás vivo, no estás triste, porque la vida es por cierto corta, y el tiempo exige su derecho.La melodÃa, escrita en Harmonia o Tonoi Griego frigio en la adaptación escrita, e hipofrigio en género diatónico, se desenvuelve en un ámbito de octava justa. La canción es melancólica, clasificada como skolion o 'canción para beber'. Se desconoce la velocidad (tempo) de la canción, ya que no está explicada en la notación. El ethos de la composición es equilibrado y está definido por la especie de octava (HarmonÃa o Tonoi) escogido (Frigio). No se pretende, aparentemente, expresar sentimientos de tristeza ni alegrÃa. Bien qu’édité en 1725 à Amsterdam, la composition de ces quatre concertos est certainement antérieure de quelques années.<br><br>Cette œuvre est l'une des plus représentative du genre Concerto, c'est aussi certainement la composition la plus connue d’Antonio Vivaldi.<br> Le printemps est le nom que porte le concerto n° 1 en mi majeur (op. 8, RV 269). Il est se compose de trois mouvements : Allegro, Largo, Allegro.<br>Son introduction, comme le troisième mouvement de l'œuvre (L’Été), sont les passages les plus célèbres de cet opus.<br>Sur la partition, le compositeur précise les correspondances avec les poèmes, il va même jusqu'à expliciter certains détails (aboiements de chien, noms d'oiseaux : coucou, tourterelle, pinson...). L’ensemble de l’œuvre est accompagnée de quatre sonnets décrivant le déroulement des saisons.
