Published by Celine Tsoi (A0.1011599). Tu te Rappelles? , meaning ‘do you remember?’, depicts the love of a girl to her partner. She reminiscences about her past memories with him and in the climax, she proclaims her love for him as she is soon to leave his side. This combination, an SSA choir with violin and piano, is chosen for it captures the character of a female speaker, and the piano adds depth to the piece but still keeps the gentleness of the message. The bright timbre of the violin as well as the use of D major is to convey positivity: this is not a sad piece. This speaker looks forward to the future and treasures their past moments together. This piece is in verse-chorus form. The chorus, starting from ‘Je t’aimerai’, and followed by ‘Jusqu’a...’ repeats three times before arriving at the final climax in A major. In between the second chorus and the third chorus, a transitional section, in F# minor, is added. This section, as it is about her difficult decision to leave, is stronger and faster than other sections. The original lyrics are inspired by a famous TV show, Game of Thrones , in which a character says the lyrics in the chorus. Different techniques are used to bring out the message in the lyrics, such as word-painting, use of harmony and instruments, and key changes. Parting is inevitable in any relationship. I hope this piece can describe some emotions and thoughts in the face of parting and can echo among not only lovers but families and friends as well.

But she composed so much more which is not wellknown, mostly because it was never published.These three songs were found during the work on a new book, Alice Tegner - Musikskapare, which also contains some 70 songs for solo voice and choir as well as some piano pieces. The three songs in German are composed to lyrics by Finnish poet Zackarias Topelius, the great J.W. Goethe and an anonymous poet (maybe A.T. herself). The style is romantic in a very attractive way. Published by Sandra Milliken (A0.774734). White Winter Hymnal was first released by the American indie folk band Fleet Foxes in 2008 as the first single from their debut self-titled album. The song was written by group member Robin Pecknold and has been covered by several groups and solo singers including Kim Wilde in 2013 and Pentatonix in 2014.The meaning behind White Winter Hymnal is somewhat open to conjecture. Pecknold has explained that he intended this gently uplifting song to be like Whistle While You Work from Snow White – something to hum along to as you do the dishes. Pecknold added that the words actually tell a more painful story about loss of the innocence of youth, being about my experience when I was a kid, you know, like I had my really tight group of friends. But as we grew up from grade school to junior high to high school, everybody just kind of split off, and everybody kind of changed. I went from like this tight-knit group to, seemingly for no reason, everybody was kind of going their own way. That song is just about that feeling.This very accessible arrangement, featuring piano and guitar accompaniment with tambourine percussion, is ideally suited to winter and general programming, and makes an ideal concert opener.

Use: Christmas services. Great for choirs low on male voices. Performance: I wrote this piece as the finale to The Father Sent the Son, a cantata I wrote for one of my church choirs. The last theme in this piece is a reprise of the title music. I was thinking of the shepherds running to tell their neighbors what they had seen that wonderful night in Bethlehem. Avoid singing with a heavy tone. There should be buoyancy in the tone and in the diction. The tempo is fast a mm140, but it works if you pianist can handle it. I have done it at mm132 on more than occasion for a piano player's sake. It still worked okay, but if you can manage 140,do it. Designed to be relatively simple for a quick win! Parts labelled Upper, Middle and Lower relate best to SAT, but also accessible to SAA. Note range for each part shown by the clef at the start of the score. Chords provided for simple accompaniment on piano/guitar/ukulele but is also fun with A Cappella with accompanying finger clicks. Originally arranged for a one-off 'come and sing' session for an unknown mix of voices, therefore designed to be simple and accessible for a mix of male and female voices. Lower male (Bass) voices can adapt any part at a lower octave. In Grease the movie this song is featured played by Sha Na Na as the school dance. However this version is based on the Grease The Stage Musical version where it's a song sung by Doody - listen here. I've not found an exact backing track for this version so simple chords have been included on the score (a repeating pattern of C / Am / F / G7 until the last 6 bars when switches to F / Fm / C). If want to use a backing track the film version by Sha Na Na is available on Karaoke Version but would need to adjust the ending slightly moving from end of bar 61 to bar 66 and then do bar 67, bar 69 and bar 71 and 72 to end. An optional middle section is included which keeps the Lower part riff from bar 38 - 42 and layers a four bar section from 'We Go Together' for interest! The alto sings from the first a below middle c to the second d above middle c. The bass runs from the first c below middle c to the the first e above middle c. The piece lasts about one minute and 15 seconds if you perform it at the tempo marked. It is not a difficult piece for the singers or for the accompanist; neither is it boring. There is enough repetition of musical ideas to make the piece attainable to most choirs, but also enough variety to make it interesting for more advanced choirs as well as audiences.
