The Partita No. 6 is the last and most complex of Bach's six partitas published as part of his Clavier-Übung I. The partita consists of seven movements, all in the key of E minor. It opens with a lengthy and virtuosic toccata-like movement, followed by an allemande, corrente, sarabande, tempo di gavotta, gigue, and an air.
