(also known as Proud to Be an American) is an American patriotic song written and recorded by American country music artist Lee Greenwood, and is considered to be his signature song. The first album it appears on is 1984's You've Got a Good Love Comin'. It reached No. 7 on the Billboard magazine Hot Country Singles chart when originally released in the spring of 1984, and was played at the 1984 Republican National Convention with President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan in attendance, but the song gained greater prominence during the Gulf War in 1990 and 1991, as a way of boosting morale, and was re-included on his 1992 album American Patriot as a result of its newfound popularity.The popularity of the song rose sharply after the September 11 attacks and during the 2003 invasion of Iraq, and the song was re-released as a single, re-entering the country music charts at No. 16 and peaking at No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 pop chart in 2001. Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is? is a song that was included on Chicago's 1969 debut album Chicago Transit Authority and released as a single in 1970. According to composer Robert Lamm, it was the first song recorded for the album. The song was not released as a single until two tracks from the band's second album, Make Me Smile and 25 or 6 to 4, had become hits. It reached No. 7 in the U.S. and No. 2 in Canada. Said Lamm: [It's] not a complicated song, but it’s certainly a quirky song. But that was my intent. I wanted to write something that wasn’t ordinary, that wasn’t blues-based, that didn’t have ice cream changes, and would allow the horns to shine and give Lee Loughnane a solo. This arrangement is for saxophone quintet (soprano, alto, two tenors, and baritone) and the melody is passed around the ensemble a bit. The arrangement is suitable for intermediate level players.

An outstanding option for any wind quintet's popular music collection this arrangement of When The Party's Over features densely packed harmonies, abd subtle nuances of dynamics and texture. Scored for wind quintet (flute, oboe, clarinet, horn, and bassoon) the arrangmenet opens with a chorale like introduction of the songs main chord progression. The melody is introduced one voice at a time over long sustained notes only joining together in a tutti at the first chorus. The texture and intensity expands in the second verse before revisitng the gently stated tutti of the chorus once again. The bridge is led by the horn and punctuated by the upper voices of the woodwinds before passing off to a brief solo flute passage setting up the final chorus. The song closes just as it begun with a soft chorale of the songs opening chord progression. Score and parts included (17 pages).
