The opening theme (repeated at the end of the piece) brings about images of hunting horns and horses galloping. The quieter middle section exploits interplay between oboe and clarinets, then adding in bassoon and flute, before a return to the rousing opening theme. The Seasons, Op. 37 Russian: Времена года; published with the French title Les Saisons), is a set of twelve short character pieces for solo piano by the Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Each piece is the characteristic of a different month of the year in the northern hemisphere. Following is a translation of the poetic epigraph contained in the Russian edition (all chosen by the publisher Nikolay Bernard) for September: It is time! The horns are sounding! The hunters in their hunting dress are mounted on their horses; in early dawn the borzois are jumping. Parts of this piece are reminiscent of the horn call in the 1812 overture. Fun for each player.

Contre-Tanze (Country Dance) No.2 (adapted Seiss)Beethoven wrote 12 Country Dances WoO14 for orchestra .They are all quite short: some have trios.They are probably better known as a set of 3 piano pieces called Contre-Tanzes which are noted frei bearbeitet von Isidor Wilhelm Seiss (freely adapted by Isidor Wilhelm Seiss) Isidor Seiss (23 December 1840 – 25 September 1905) was a German composer, conductor, pianist, piano pedagogue and philanthropist.They have a romantic feel to them.Each one of Seiss's 3 country dances are made up of extracts from 3 of Beethoven's. In some cases he uses only the trio, other times he uses the first 8 bars. Extracts are also transposed when needed to fit the home key of the piece. My arrangement is based on the musical layout of Seiss's Dance Number 2 which utilises extracts of Beethoven's as follows: The trio from No.5, the Trio from No 6 and part of No.12.Seiss freely adapts Beethoven's melodies and chordal structure. I have used Beethoven's original orchestration as a guide to give a more authentic classical sound.The horn part is for a natural horn in Eb.I have ignored the coda from Seiss's arrangement.Hope you enjoy them.

McCartney had been staying on Long Island when the category-three storm Hurricane Bob that made landfall had hit in August 1991. This made McCartney sit with an acoustic guitar and write what he describes as a gentle love song that becomes a 1960s protest song. The song was co-produced by George Martin and McCartney, being started, finished, and mixed within a single session on 3 September 1992 in Sussex, England. It is the earliest recording on Flaming Pie. Around the time of the release of the album, McCartney's Wife of nearly 30 years, Linda, was suffering from breast cancer and sadly passed away 7 months later. The music video also portrays this with shots of the two of them together in her last days. Put simply, the song, lyrics, melody are for her and trying to tell the story of how the two of them were destined to love each other forever.Â

Various funerals known to have taken place at this time have been proposed as the occasion for the composition, for example that of his uncle Tobias Lämmerhirt from his mother's family, who died inErfurt on 10 August 1707, and that of Adolph Strecker, a former mayor of Mühlhausen, whose funeral was 16 September 1708. The earliest surviving manuscript, in the hand of Christian Friedrich Penzel, was copied in 1768 after Bach's death. It introduced the title Actus tragicus. The cantata was published in 1876 as part of the first complete edition of Bach's works: the Bach-Gesellschaft-Ausgabe, edited by Wilhelm Rust. The text consists of different Bible passages from the Old and New Testament, as well as individual verses of hymns by Martin Lither and Adam Reusner, which all together refer to finiteness, preparation for death and dying. The Arrangement is relatively easy to perform, also appropriate for beginners. It is an ideal piece for advanced performers, this music touches deep into the Soul. The piece was arranged for modern instruments, I introduced some embellishments and interpretation symbols thus shortening the length of some notes, but no notes where otherwise changed or omitted in this arrangement. Also the original placement of the voices is totally respected, the structure of the piece was simply left as it was composed in its original form. Bach scored the instrumental parts for a small ensemble of Baroque instruments two recorders, two violas da gamba and continuo. I propose an interpretation for a modern woodwind quintet in this arrangement. You should feel Free to apply in this piece the Art and technic that expresses entirely your individual skills, Your taste and Soul. Have fun! It is a piece that can be used in many different kinds of situations, from the serious concert hall to a funeral, in Easter or even Christmas celebrations and all other kinds of Spiritual events.
