I have engraved a score and made a few editorial decisions about spurious notes, missing bowings and dynamics. Title of the 12 Sonatas: 12 Suonati a violino o cimbalo meaning: 12 Sonatas for violin and cello or harpsichord.No 8 in E minor is my favourite Corelli Sonata. Original key, matching the original violin part. I have performed this Sonata with violin with both guitar and cello with the included parts (see video). Here is supplied: Cello melody, Cello accompaniment (continue bass), Guitar accompaniment (according to the figured bass - like the harpsichord part), Facsimile of the edition by Joseph Joachim (1888 - 1891). The first print (Rome on the 1st of January 1700) was quite messy, Joachim published a very neat edition of the same, which is here included. This edition includes violin and cello parts in Duo form. Bowing and ornament suggestions are added. Published by JGJG Sheet Music LLC (A0.831395). This four-part dance from the Glogauer Liederbuch (c. 1480) is entitled Der Pawir Schwantcz and is attributed to Rubinus. This arrangement for SATB recorders is adapted from a facsimile of the manuscript. There is an interesting transition from duple meter to triple wherein the four players change meter is succession! This lively instrumental piece is not too difficult. Conductor’s score and four parts are easy to read. This example of late medieval music is a good choice for small ensemble performances and recorder society workshops.

The Rondo alla ingharese quasi un capriccio in G major, Op. 129 is a piano rondo by Ludwig van Beethoven. It is better known by the title Rage Over a Lost Penny, Vented in a Caprice. This title appears on the autograph manuscript, but not in Beethoven's hand, and has been attributed to his friend Anton Schindler. It is a favorite with audiences and is frequently performed as a showpiece. Robert Schumann wrote of the work that it would be difficult to find anything merrier than this whim... It is the most amiable, harmless anger, similar to that felt when one cannot pull a shoe from off the foot, citing the work as an instance of Beethoven's earthliness against those fixated upon a transcendental image of the composer. This new edition also contains a brief biography of Beethoven, some historical information about the piece, and a facsimile of a portion of the original manuscript. I acquired a facsimile copy published by the Metropolitan Museum of Arts. The album is divided into four sections. Each section begins with an oration by Orpheus, which then is followed by a set of poems depicting animals, insects, sea creatures and some mythological beasts. Francis Poulenc set six of these poems. I decided to do all thirty. Why not?

The text is in current French. In the end, I inserted the poem divided in the verses (couplets). This arrangement is from the facsimile present on the Book of Arias by Sir D'Ambruys. There is another version, from a book of various composers. This last, however, does not include the second verse written in the score (the diminutions), and since the metric of the poem changes between verses, the other version is much harder for the musicians. *Now with improved engraving quality and legebility.*.

The clarinet quartet arrangement of Break Forth, O Beauteous, Heavenly Light, was made for the 2018 Holiday Contest Entry. Martin Luther developed the Lutheran chorale, a religious hymn sung in four-part harmony by the congregation as part of the service. Break Forth, O Beauteous, Heavenly Light was written by Johann Rist and Johann Schop in the mid-17th century, so that by 1734, when Bach included it in his Christmas Oratorio, it was well known to congregations. The harmonization, however, is Bach ‘s own. The arrangement remains faithful to the original facsimile of Bach. It is transposed for a modern clarinet quartet. Variations in loudness and the duration of musical notes are the basic elements to musical expression. A few interpretation symbols where added to shorten some of the notes. Breathing between music phrases is notated. and the final was stretched with one more bar for a ralentando effect. This details are only suggestions for an interpretation. The piece is appropriate for beginner students or amateurs and without any doubt very pleasant to listen when played by an experienced ensemble. It can be used in concerts and all sorts of spiritual or religious events. Thank you very much for taking your time to read this text and to listen to the file. These seventeen compositions and the first and second parts of La Bataille de Ianequinn were transcribed for the Renaissance guitar, guitar, and for the baritone ukulele from a facsimile copy of Simon Gorlier’s Third Book. Most are also playable on the soprano and tenor ukulele. The re-entrant tuning of the ukulele does not detract at all from what would otherwise be a faithful rendition of these compositions. Most of the pieces sound just fine and while testing each piece for playability and checking for mistakes, I had both my tenor and baritone ukuleles close by my side. The music ranges from intermediate to fairly advanced skill levels. I encourage you to experiment with the ornamentation and make these pieces your own. Have fun!
