Parts that replicate sounds that are not exclusive to keyboard (i.e. guitar, bass guitar, etc.) could be substituted with the actual instrument. The low register version is ideal for players with limited experience - it stays entirely in the low chalumeau register and doesn’t cross the break at all. The high register version (an octave higher) is mainly in the clarion register, but it does cross the break here and there, and requires a little more skill.The Guitar is tuned down to 6=D and has the 3:3:2 rhythm that gives this piece its real sense of fun.
