Cello Solo - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.947110 Composed by Philip Nicholas. Contemporary,Instructional,Jazz. Individual part. 25 pages. Philip Nicholas #3042469. Published by Philip Nicholas (A0.947110). A collection of 13 studies. The Blue ones are a bit Jazzy and feature the development of Dominant 7ths or Diminished 7ths, and more, while the music of Martian origins has a tendency to explore some fringe areas in terms of harmony or notation though some are more conventional. The studies are aimed at a student ready to explore 3rd position and beyond. Each study uses all the strings of the cello and all the left hand fingers. In general the individual studies are varied, including the bowing, and don't have that typical study look. The final work is older and is called Winter Solstice.

Published by Paul Sprague (A0.1029234). This piece was written as a final project in my high school AP Music Theory course. It is written in Sonata-Allegro form, with the main theme being my name, Paul Philip Sprague, translated into a musical figure. It reminded me of the first time I flew on an airplane. The moment when the wings of the plane finally are able to carry the massive aircraft. The moment of lift.

Published by Philip Le Bas (A0.1128059). An arrangement by Philip Le Bas of Gustav Holst's hymn setting of I vow to thee, my country (Thaxted, with words by Sir Cecil Spring Rice.) It is scored for SATB choir and organ, with congregational participation split between men and women. This enables a more joined up and uplifting rendition of Holst's famous tune from Jupiter in his Planets Suite than the standard setting in most hymn books. The hymn's popularity is very evident for example by being sung both at Princess Diana's wedding and, poignantly, at her funeral.

String Orchestra - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.734620 Composed by Eliot Daniel. Arranged by Dennis Ruello. Contemporary. Score and parts. 10 pages. Chicory Music #6676835. Published by Chicory Music (A0.734620). On October 15, 1951, the very first episode of the I Love Lucy show aired on CBS and became the most watched TV show in the U.S. for four of its seven-year run. Fun trivia about the opening theme song is that during the first season the show opened with their sponsor Philip Morris’ animation of stick figure cartoons of Lucy and Desi climbing down a pack of Philip Morris cigarettes. It was scored with Ferde Grofé’s Jr. The Grand Canyon Suite theme (a composition from 1931).From the second season onwards, the I Love Lucy signature tune we all know so well became the main theme, and one of the most recognizable pieces of music on the planet. It was written by composer Eliot Daniel who cranked it out in an afternoon as a favor to his old Coast Guard buddy Jess Oppenheimer, the show’s producer. Since Daniel still had another year under his exclusive contract to Fox, he asked Oppenheimer to keep his name out of it. Consequently his name does not appear on first or the second season TV credits for what became one of the most popular TV themes. Later, Daniel did seek credit and received royalties from syndicated reruns for the rest of his life. The lyrics were written by Harold Adamson for an episode in the third season in which Lucy believes everyone has forgotten her birthday. So of course Ricky saves the day after a near disaster. This arrangement for String Orchestra plus optional Drum Set part remains faithful to the original.Performance Time Approx. 1 minute 25 seconds

Woodwind Ensemble Alto Flute,Bass Flute - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.734614 Composed by Eliot Daniel. Arranged by Dennis Ruello. Contemporary. 7 pages. Chicory Music #6672181. Published by Chicory Music (A0.734614).
