1 Piano,4 Hands,Piano Duet - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.754388 Composed by Nick Raspa. Instructional. Score. 12 pages. NJR Music #3926155. Published by NJR Music (A0.754388). March Of The Dragons is in the key of d minor. Â The hand position for both hands of both players is in d position. The song begins with a gradual introduction of the players beginning with the left hand of the secundo part followed by an entrance of the right hand. Â The left hand of the primo player is then introduced followed by the right hand. Â This pattern is repeated later in the piece but with the addition of a crescendo throughout the entrances of each hand. Â The primo part has the melody in the beginning with an ostinato in the secundo. Â This ostinato is later split between the primo and secundo as they share the melody alternating in a question and answer fashion.Dragons marching will capture the imagination of the students and the layout of the song is a great opportunity to teach balance and reinforce the staccato against legato technique. Â Listen to the entire arrangement on YouTube. Â ASCAP.

Piano,Viola - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.518943 Composed by Han-Ki Kim. 20th Century,Classical,Contemporary,Instructional,Traditional. Score and part. 37 pages. Han-Ki Kim #129615. Published by Han-Ki Kim (A0.518943). Viola Sonata No.1 “KangKangSullae†For Viola and Piano Sonata No. 1 has the name “KangKangSullaeâ€, and the composer is like any other composer. “What does it mean to be Korean music?†With the question, he is trying to compose such works. A Korean work means a work that contains Korean emotions and spirit, and the melody of “KangKangSullae†has been handed down through a long history to this day, so it can be said that it is a keepsake containing the soul of Korea. With this in mind, the theme of “KangKangSullae†was cited in the 4th movement, and it was named as a representative name for the sonata as an element that forms the basic character of this movement. For reference, the origin of “KangKangSullae†is from women's circular dance. It was because they valued the relationship between each other. They held hands, sang and danced, and it was a representative event to commemorate the full moon and the harvest. The first movement is in 6/8 time, and two contrasting themes, masculine and feminine, appear in normal sonata form. But, in this sonata, two contrasting themes, eastern and western, develop. The second movement crosses the natural harmonics of the violin and the normal playing method in 4/4 time, and expresses oriental excellence and emotion. The third movement is composed in a short ABA form with a humorous lightness and weight in 3/8 time. The fourth movement quoted the theme of “KangKangSullae†in 8/12 time, and was composed in the form of variations that change with various personalities, sometimes solemnly, sometimes sobbing, calmly, etc.

Seen in this way, a concert reflects a value system that pits the individual against the group and poses a struggle of I against you. Surely this vehemence could be explained in a Beethovenian era when the concepts of human rights and individual freedom were fragile ideals. However, it is a different scale of values that my piano concerto tries to reflect: the idea of cooperation, of teamwork and of an orchestra as a living organism whose organs are not superior to one another, more vital than others, but fulfil different functions, qualitatively speaking.Every soloist plays a leading role, but this does not imply either subordination to the rest or denigration or subjugation of the rest. The fact that the soloist is sometimes in the foreground does not imply a victory over the others. The very concept of victory is meaningless here.At times, the soloist will fulfil a leadership role, at others he or she will underpin from passivity what is happening in the orchestra, intentionally from the shadows, as a grey eminence. And at other times - why not - he will question what the majority is doing. It is not a rough relationship of me against you, but there is also a we.The composition and orchestration of this piano concerto was made possible by a grant from the Senator for Culture of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen. This work was funded by an artist's grant as part of the Bremen-Corona-Hilfen programme. The premiere by the orchestra of the Bremer Orchestergemeinschaft is scheduled for the beginning of 2024. Duration: 17 to 20 minutes.

Published by Han-Ki Kim (A0.511812). Symphony No.1 “KangKangSullae†Symphony No. 1 has the name “KangKangSullaeâ€, and the composer is like any other korean composer. “What does it mean to be Korean?†With the question, he is trying to compose such works. A Korean work means a work that contains Korean emotions and spirit, and the melody of “KangKangSullae†has been handed down through a long history to this day, so it can be said that it is a keepsake containing the soul of Korea. With this in mind, the theme of “KangKangSullae†was cited in the 4th movement, and it was named as a representative name for the Symphony as an element that forms the basic character of this movement. The second movement crosses the natural harmonics of the violin and the normal playing method in 4/4 time, expressing oriental excellence and emotion. The third movement is composed in a short ABA form with a humorous lightness and weight in 3/8 time. The fourth movement quoted the theme of “Ganggangsullae†in 8/12 time, and was composed in the form of variations that change with various personalities, sometimes majestic, sometimes sobbing, calmly, etc.Attached Music file is only 1st. movement, it's just for a reference.

Brass Ensemble Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.855176 Composed by American Folk Melody. Arranged by Joseph Pugh. Christian,Sacred,Standards. Score and parts. 10 pages. Joseph Pugh #6410323. Published by Joseph Pugh (A0.855176). This hymn was probably written in 1771, as it is in Conyers's Collection of Psalms and Hymns, 1772, in 7 stanzas of 4 lines. It was republished in the Olney Hymns, 1779, Bk. i., No. 79, with the heading Praise for the Fountain opened. It is based on Zech. xiii. 1, In that day there shall be a Fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness. This hymn in full or abbreviated is in extensive use in all English-speaking countries.A well known form of this hymn is From Calvary's Cross a Fountain flows. This appeared in Cotterill's Selection, 8th ed., 1819, No. 43, in 5 stanzas of 4 lines, and consists of stanzas i.-v. very much altered. In Bickersteth's Christian Psalmody, 1833, No. 49, that same opening stanza is given, with a return, in most of the remaining six stanzas, to the original text. The question as to by whom these alterations were made, first in Cotterill's Selection off 1819, and then in Bickersteth's Christian Psalmody, 1833, is answered by R. W. Dibdin, in the Christian Annotator, vol. iii., No. 76, for July 5, 1856, p. 278

This song sums up all the questions a wayward sinner ought to ask. God doesnt needs any present but only your presence in heave-his new mansion. Do not waste your time on temporal things. Dedicated in Chist is a bonus to go to heaven. Hope you enjoy this beautiful song.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Digital Download SKU: A0.981235 Composed by Judith Cloud. Contemporary. Octavo. 11 pages. Judith Cloud #6710263. Published by Judith Cloud (A0.981235). 1. Feet o' Jesus (From the cantata FEET OF JESUS by Judith Cloud (text by Langston Hughes)Feet of Jesus is a cantata for mixed chorus, soprano saxophone, soprano and baritone soloists and organ. It is made up of seven movements: 1) Feet of Jesus; 2) Prayer; 3) Shout; 4) Litany/Sinner; 5) Fire; 6) Angels Wings; 7) Spirituals. It is approximately eighteen minutes in length. It has been performed by church choirs, professional choirs and amateur choirs, as well as university choirs.I was very fortunate to have Anders Paulsson believe in the beauty and significance of Feet of Jesus. He promoted it in Sweden and returned to the United States to perform it in San Francisco. In May of 1997, the Saint Jacobs Chamber Choir under the direction of Gary Graden recorded Feet of Jesus, along with some other original works by Anders Paulsson and arrangements of spirituals. I requested that the soloists be African-Americans, Marymal Holmes and John Williams. The cross-cultural exchange was a vibrant one and proved to be enlightening. The very idea of what was truly considered spiritual in music was put to the question and answered admirably by Gary Graden and his marvelous Swedish choir. The BIS Northern Lights CD was released under the title Spirituals.

This piece for piano and flute is meant to be played in a very expressive manner to portray the feelings that one goes through when grieving the loss of a loved one. Â The flute and piano interact with each other and play an equal role in the development of the music. The first page introduces feelings of loss, followed by a bittersweet melody on the second page. Â At the end of the second page the sadness returns and builds gradually to a climax on the third page when feelings of questioning, hopelessness, and despair take over. Â Shortly afterwards the music ends quietly and settles into a mood of acceptance. The reflective nature of this piece makes it suitable for the Season of Lent and Good Friday services.

The Scotsman and his Beethoven - The 32 Piano Sonatas in the Instructive Edition, edited and supplied with fingerings by Frederic Lamond. Classical. Score. 264 pages. Breitkopf and Haertel - Digital #EB-4341. Published by Breitkopf and Haertel - Digital (B8.EB-4341). ISBN 9790004162866. 9 x 12 in inches.Whereas in past decades Urtext editions with assorted aspirations and readings by various editors were the primary points of departure in addressing Beethoven's piano sonatas, today it is more often the question of what significance so-called instructive editions have in the history of interpretation, what additional benefit is generated from them, and wherein lies their legitimacy. Unlike his teacher Hans von Bulow in his edition of the sonatas, Lamond did not allow any intervention in the music text per se. His indications give instead interpretive approaches, additionally inspiring today's musicians in the realization of the musical composition. By the beginning of the 20th century he was a successful and celebrated pianist, concertizing in the US and across much of Europe. He repeatedly caused a stir with his Beethoven projects such as performing sixteen sonatas as well as the Diabelli and Eroica variations within four days at the Queen's Hall in London (1925). Dating from this period is also his edition of Beethoven's 32 piano sonatas that first appeared from Breitkopf & Hartel in 1923. Frederic Lamond thus epitomizes Beethoven interpretation. Even today his name is still associated primarily with Beethoven. The present ,,Instructive Edition of Beethoven's 32 Piano Sonatas is a part of the ,,Breitkopf Originals series on the occasion of Beethoven's 250th Birthday in 2020. Apart from the established Urtext editions, this reissue opens up a fascinating view on the interpretation- and performance practice of one of the most important Beethoven interpreters in the 19th and 20th century.

JoeCopio Music LLC #2032001. Published by JoeCopio Music LLC (A0.876417). THE BACH JAZZ SONATA FROM THE 3RD MOVEMENT OF THE FLUTE/VIOLIN SONATA II IN Eb* FOR Eb INSTRUMENTS Arr. By Joe Procopio These arrangements by Joe Procopio from J.S. Bach’s Flute/Violin Sonata II in Eb are special in many ways. Firstly, it fills the need for the very best in music combining the genres of both Classical and Jazz. In addition, it is also importantly unique because it may be performed by a variety of musicians. For example, the arrangement in C may be performed by 2 or more C Instruments including Flute, Piccolo, Oboe and Violin with a small band accompaniment (Piano, Guitar, Bass, and Drums - Guitar is optional). The work may also be performed with just the Piano and/or Guitar for accompaniment. What’s more, the Rhythm Track Accompaniment is available without the solo instruments adding to the already many attributes of this music that enhance its inherent genuine global appeal. This is critical because teachers, students and musicians worldwide are constantly seeking music of the highest quality that can be skillfully presented to the public while having, at the same time, built-in qualities both pleasing to the listener and the performer alike. Bach’s melodies have certainly stood the test of time and Jazz is without question internationally popular. That makes these arrangements truly worthy of attention from people, artists and publishers throughout the world. The composer personally has had great success with this work in many major concerts including its premier performance using a Flute Choir at a Civic Center Concert held in Syracuse, NY before several thousand people who triumphed the young musicians with a standing ovation. The melody by J.S. Bach used in this work is taken from the Bach-Gesellschaft Ausgabe Band 9 and 1 Kammermusik BWV 1031- known as the complete works of Johann Sebastian Bach which was published in 46 volumes from 1851-1899. A single volume was issued in 1926. The last surviving editor of the series died in 1928, and these volumes are now public domain worldwide. They are also held in acclaim because there are no articulation or expression marks in the Gesellshaft. Therefore, the articulation and expression marks written in these arrangements by the arranger are suggestions only. Musicians may perform the works in any manner best suited to the betterment of their own performance.

Flute,Handbell,Piano - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.767656 Composed by Anonymous. Arranged by c.e. walz. Easter,Sacred. 6 pages. C.E. Walz #4327103. Published by C.E. Walz (A0.767656). Maestro remembers this song from his Sunday School days of long ago. Rejoice in the Lord Always for bells(handbellsor handchimes) and flute or piano would be out of the question for a beginning handbell choir, but when bells play half-note chords as accompaniment throughout AND flute or piano takes melody, it is truly a wonderful piece for Palm Sunday or Easter or anytime you want an uplifting musical worship time! There are a couple of options for performance: bells with flute melody, bells with piano melody only, and bells with piano full accompaniment. I don't recommend combining any of these since it might overpower the bells. Key of F, six pages total (2 for bells, 2 for flute melody, 2 for piano accompaniment). Flute and piano parts are early intermediate level. PERMISSION IS GRANTED to make as many copies as needed for your bell choir and flutist/pianist. Performance time: 1:15. The sample MP3 is the bell and flute version. You will be surprised how great your bell choir will sound! .
