Cet album d'Oeuvres pour piano prouve que la musique contemporaine peut inspirer les enfants et les adultes de tout autre aptitudes musicales et intérêts. L'édition développé à partir d'un projet éducatif très grand succès géré par le Klavier-Festival Ruhr. La série a débuté en 2007 dans le but de présenter la musique contemporaine pour piano en collaboration avec les pianistes de renommée internationale Pierre-Laurent Aimard et Tamara Stefanovich.Les premières publications dans cette édition des ajouts précieux à la convivialité du répertoire difficulté moyenne techniques pour piano à deux et quatre mains. Dans les versions pour piano à quatre mains, une partie est maintenue suffisamment facile pour les pianistes les moins expérimentés à jouer. Les versions pour piano à deux mains seront découvertes passionnantes pour les joueurs plus avancés. / Piano / Partition

?I believe ? without unwarranted vanity ? that these three pieces will prove to be good and that they will take a prominent place in the literature of piano music ? to the left of Schumann or to the right of Chopin ? as you like it?. Debussy?s ?Images?, already popular during Debussy?s lifetime, delight with their iridescent tone colour and dazzling harmonies ?which reflect the newest discoveries in harmonic chemistry?. The virtuosic second series is notated throughout on three staves.
In commemoration of Debussy?s 150th birthday, Bärenreiter is publishing an Urtext edition of these pieces reflecting the most recent scholarship and source analysis. Clear presentation, fingering by Tamara Stefanovich and valuable information on performance practice all offer optimal conditions for the study of the work.

Tamara Stefanovich
studied at the University of Belgrade, at the Curtis Institute of Music and at the ?Hochschule für Musik und Tanz? in Cologne. She has performed with the Cleveland Orchestra, the London Philharmonic and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra under conductors including Esa-Pekka Salonen, Vladimir Jurowski and Pierre Boulez, and has recorded for Deutsche Grammophon. She performed Debussy?s ?Images I? and ?II? in 2011 for the ?Klavier-Festival Ruhr?. Together with Pierre- Laurent Aimard she prepared the fingering for the ?Klavier-Festival Ruhr? gemeinsamen
Verstandigungsbasis
bewahrt er durch die
Konservierung und
Fetischisierung
historischer asthetischer
Kategorien und daran
gebundener
Wertvorstellungen; als
Synonym fur tabuisierte
Konvention bildet
Tradition heute einen
verraterischen Teil
dieser unserer
Wirklichkeit. Die Funf
Variationen uber ein
Thema von Franz Schubert
sind 1956, also noch vor
meinem Studium bei Nono,
entstanden. In ihnen ist
jener oben ausgefuhrte
gesellschafts- und
kulturbetriebskritische
Ansatz noch kaum
erkennbar, eher keimhaft
verborgen. Ich mag das
Stuck so, wie einer
vielleicht Souvenirs aus
seiner Jugend mag. Es ist
vorwiegend von rationalen
Prinzipien in Anlehnung
an Motivtechniken
Schonbergs und des spaten
Strawinsky gepragt, und
doch ist das
musikantische Element und
der tanzerische
Charakter, wenn auch
immer anders gebrochen,
erhalten geblieben. Noch
nicht ausgepragt ist
hierin der Widerstand
gegen Tradition, insofern
deren Kategorien als
herrschende Konventionen
jenen zuvor erwahnten
burgerlichen
Verdrangungsmechanismen
