Par CONNOLLY JUSTIN. A setting of five late poems by Friedrich Hölderlin written under his pseudonym Scardanelli. Described by the composer as Cantata for mezzo soprano and piano, the 20-minute piece explores the full range of Hölderlin's poetry from the religious to the comic, as well as themes of nature and Classical mythology.
