This spirit of exploration has led to the creation of some of the most successful and popular production basses of all time. Utilizing experience and knowledge up until now, Ibanez has developed ultimate ergonomic basses, the EHB basses, which feature the deeply considered headless design. The EHB's headless construction and specially designed body enable the player to maintain a similar playing position whether seated or standing. Its contoured, ergonomic design and chambered body make for a lightweight, well-balanced, and comfortable instrument that's excellent for long sets or practice session. There is extra carving on the back of the body behind the lower horn for easier upper fret access. Also, the top half of the back of the body is slanted which allows the bass to rest slight closer to the player's body for better control and a more ergonomic feel. The EHB1005MS features an American Basswood body and the 5-piece roasted Maple/Walnut neck for well-balanced tone and clear attack. The Roasted Maple in the neck is heat-treated to increase stability, durability, moisture resistance, and tolerance of temperature changes. The Roasted Maple fretboard is also heat-treated for a balanced attack and rich sustain. Highly durable stainless steel frets accentuate tonal brightness and will not rust. Luminescent side dot inlays provide clear visibility in dark environments and the truss rod adjustment is located at the end of neck for easy access. With its multi-scale design, the EHB1005MS creates an alive open tone and is comfortable to play. The ergonomic construction coordinates with the player's hand angle as it moves up and down the neck, facilitating a quick, smooth, playing action. The Bartolini BH2 pickups in a dual-coil style configuration with a lower resonant frequency, provide a balanced, warm response with a tighter bottom end and a fuller midrange. The Vari-mid 3-band EQ features a variable mid-frequency control which allows you to dial in an incredibly wide range of sounds. There is also an EQ bypass switch for passive operation with the treble control acting as a passive tone control when the EQ is bypassed. The MR5HS bridge is designed especially for the EHB basses and features wide intonation range. Each bridge piece is independently and securely attached to the body for maximum vibration transfer, and the saddles are adjustable for string spacing /-1.5mm, answering every bassist's individual string spacing demands, no matter what playing style. Teflon washers are used on each tuner for a smooth tuning action. Schaller S-Lock strap lock pins and a Neutrik locking jack hold the strap and cable securely, and a detachable finger ramp and a gig bag are included with each instrument. DOUBLE CARBON FIBER REINFORCEMENT ROD Sire s 5 string bass guitars are made with Double Carbon Fiber Reinforcement Rods. 5 string bass guitars tend to have weak neck binding structures due to strong string tensions. For this reason, many high-end 5 string basses are made with Carbon Rods. Therefore, to maintain neck stiffness and stability, two carbon rods are applied to all Sire s 5 string bass guitars. We call this Double Carbon Fiber Reinforcement Rod. NEW MARCUS MILLER MODERN BASS TYPE With both classic and modern feel and design, this new bass can produce the desired sound for all genres of music from soft to even strong metal grunge. For an added special touch of detail, the M2 truss rod cover and black plate is also made with real wood for a premium look and feel. The M7 is built with solid hard maple top as would all premium guitars. The solid top produces a rich, vibrant and clear tone compared to a veneer top. SWAMP ASH Premium Swamp Ash tone wood is usually found in higher priced instruments. Swamp Ash tone wood is known to produce a well-balanced tone. It is highly resonant and offers a nice balance of pleasant highs, firm lows, and a slightly scooped midrange which is great for slap playing.The characteristics of this wood enable players to emulate Marcus Miller s tone a step further NORTH AMERICAN ALDER A popular choice for most bass guitars is the North American Alder. Other basses at this price range commonly use Basswood or Agathis tone wood but Sire Guitars chooses the traditional North American Alder which is known for its strong, clear full-bodied sound, with beefy mids and excellent lows that is perfect for the traditional jazz bass sound. STABLE AND ACCURATE TUNING Tuning Gear : Sire Basic Die casting Gear Equipped with SIRE s own diecasting gear machine heads developed with accurate gear ratio, the machine heads are very reliable in tuning. BONE NUT The nut is one of the most important parts of the guitar that influences the performance, playability, and tone of the instrument. Depending on the quality of the material and elasticity, the nut can either improve or degrade the sound. Although the bone nut is more costly and harder to work with, it is considered to deliver more balanced, clearer and smoother tones than plastic or other materials. EASE OF PLAYABILITY 1 PIECE HARD MAPLE NECK The neck is made with one-piece Canadian hard maple. The hardness and strength of the hard maple minimizes the movement and stabilizes the neck to maintain its original shape and condition. The one-piece neck also minimizes the loss of vibration and maximizes the tone sustainability for a lasting tone. EBONY FINGERBOARD Ebony fingerboards are made with very dense wood that delivers clear, crisp, and well-rounded tones. This spirit of exploration has led to the creation of some of the most successful and popular production basses of all time. Utilizing experience and knowledge up until now, Ibanez has developed ultimate ergonomic basses, the EHB basses, which feature the deeply considered headless design. The EHB's headless construction and specially designed body enable the player to maintain a similar playing position whether seated or standing. Its contoured, ergonomic design and chambered body make for a lightweight, well-balanced, and comfortable instrument that's excellent for long sets or practice session. There is extra carving on the back of the body behind the lower horn for easier upper fret access. Also, the top half of the back of the body is slanted which allows the bass to rest slight closer to the player's body for better control and a more ergonomic feel. The EHB1505 features a stunning Poplar Burl top and an African Mahogany body for a warm tone with rich resonance. The 9-piece Panga Panga/Walnut neck provides superior note attack, tight lows and increased sustain with the Panga Panga fretboard. Highly durable stainless steel frets accentuate tonal brightness and will not rust. Luminescent side dot inlays provide clear visibility in dark environments and the truss rod adjustment is located at the end of neck for easy access. The single-coil Nordstrand Big Split pickups feature split coils with hum cancelling construction for less noise. Its tone character is a hybrid P/J style and provides a rich and strong, yet well-balanced tone, which fits well with various kinds of playing styles. The Vari-mid 3-band EQ features a variable mid-frequency control which allows you to dial in an incredibly wide range of sounds. There is also an EQ bypass switch for passive operation with the treble control acting as a passive tone control when the EQ is bypassed. The MR5HS bridge is designed especially for the EHB basses and features wide intonation range. Each bridge piece is independently and securely attached to the body for maximum vibration transfer, and the saddles are adjustable for string spacing /-1.5mm, answering every bassist's individual string spacing demands, no matter what playing style. Teflon washers are used on each tuner for a smooth tuning action. Schaller S-Lock strap lock pins and a Neutrik locking jack hold the strap and cable securely, and a detachable finger ramp and a gig bag are included with each instrument.
