- Hand tube, middle tube and cup tube made of finely selected spruce wood
- Cup ring and hand knob in solid cherry wood, multiple lacquered
- Constant 8.5 mm wall thickness
- Wide scale and therefore full, extremely warm and sonorous sound
- Interior oiled
- Wrapped with peddig tube and then five times glossy lacquered
- Tuned to 442 Hz orchestra tuning
- 2 cm "take off" for tuning to 440 Hz (therefore best adaptation to other alphorns or other instruments in ensemble playing)
- Very intonation-safe and harmonious in itself - "the tones jump in as if by themselves"
- Extremely easy response
- Plug connections made of aluminium - gold anodised
