Dernier adieu à un ami (to bid Farewell to a friend ) is a set of three very easy small pieces for wind orchestra assigned to funeral ceremony.

The instrumentation follows the chorale texture in order to be possibly played by few musicians provide the fourt parts are represented

S part:Flute,Oboe,Clarinet-1,Alto sax-1,Trumpet 1
A part:Clarinet-2,Alto sax -2 Trumpet 2,French horn
T part:Tenor sax,Trombone
B part:Bari sax,Euphonium,Tuba
Timpani and cymbal

An extra drum/snare part and a bass drum part are provided for marching band to replace timpani in the dead march

This is little suite bellows monumentally as it begins, then sparkles, softening contrapuntally. Technically seamless, I wish that you would have introduced more of your modulations from the dead march in the preceding section. As strong as your melodic line in the beginning is, it seems to become tautological. If this is the point, please disregard the criticism; but if it goes unnoticed (which I doubt,) this might give way to a more diverse Introduction. But at any rate, thank you for sharing this masterwork with us!
