Ah, thank you, dear Francois for your ear. It helps keep me on my toes! Another piece is on its way, non?

Thank you my dear Auguste for your comment. The work, initially has a single melody. With a fugal counterpoint (imitation), the melody radiates all the voices, repeatedly. It resembles a pine forest in the mountains. The imitation is so close and random as the melody is unrecognizable. Remains to change modes, rhythms, articulations and delete a lot of notes to ease the music. Looking forward to read you.

A wonderfully brilliant play with melodic lines and counterpoint, yet it tells a uniquely abstract story. I adore the pulsing of the horns; the warbling of flutes; the mocha colors of the bassoons. All very euphonious. A treat for reposing to, the modulations are clear and well-controlled. Concise and marvelous. Bravo, Francois.
