"Für Elise" is a popular solo piano piece by the
German composer Ludwig van Beethoven, it is officially
referred to as Bagatelle No. 25 in A minor. It was only
in 1867, a full forty years after Beethoven's death,
that the piano score was first published. The
_discoverer of the piece, Ludwig Nohl, claimed that the
original autographed manuscript, now lost, was dated 27
April 1810. This piece is set to a 6/8 time signature
