Erik Meyer-Helmund (1861 - 1932) Allemagne Erik Meyer-Helmund (* 13 April 1861 in St Petersburg , Russian Empire ; † 4 April 1932 in Berlin ) was a European composer and singer .
He received his first piano lessons from his father. Later he went to Berlin and became a pupil of Friedrich Kiel and Julius Stockhausen . His most famous works were his opera 'The two Klingberg' and 'The battle of love'. He also wrote a one-act farce entitled 'Tischka', ballet music, instrumental music, numerous piano pieces and songs.
