Josef Gabriel Rheinberger (1839 - 1901)

Josef Gabriel Rheinberger (March 17, 1839, in Vaduz - November 25, 1901, in Munich) was a Liechtensteinian composer.

When only seven years old Rheinberger was organist at Vaduz Parish Church, and his first composition was performed the following year. In 1851 he entered the Munich Conservatorium, eventually becoming professor of pianoforte playing, and later, professor of composition at the institution.
