Tobias Wilhelmi (1885 - 1944) Suède Johan Tobias Jacob Wilhelmi , born 7 april 1885 in Amsterdam , died 24 October 1944 , was a Dutch-Swedish concert master and composer . He was a distant relative of August Wilhelmj .
Wilhelmi studied in Amsterdam and Cologne . He was concertmaster of Leipzig , Riga , and at the Stockholm Concert Association as well as concert master at the Royal Theater from 1921. He was the leader of the 1915 founded Wilhelmitrion, appeared as a soloist at the Swedish concerts in Berlin and London , the Swedish music festival in Kiel in 1926, ditto in Frankfurt Main in 1927, and at the Nordic Music Festival in Stockholm the same year.
Wilhelmi composed Berceuse for violin and piano (printed), two symphonies , a violin concerto (printed), ballads for voice with orchestra, string quartet, choral works with orchestra, ballad for four voices and string quartet, trio for piano, violin and cello sonatas for piano and violin, heavenly blue for male choir and orchestra (1927) and the small suite for oboe and piano (1929).
