Paul Véronge de la Nux (* 1853 in Réunion ; † 1928 ) was a French composer.
Paul Véronge de la Nux studied at the Paris Conservatoire and won in 1876 with the cantata Judith by Paul Hillemacher the Second Premier Grand Prix de Rome . He worked as "Chef de Chant" at the Théâtre de la Renaissance , the 1893-1899 under the direction of Sarah Bernhardt was.
He composed three operas: David Rissio (1878), Lucrèce and Zaire . The latter with a libretto by Édouard Blau and Louise Besson was at the Paris Opera listed. Furthermore, he composed an overture symphonique , song cycles and chamber works, including several clarinet and trombone pieces for instrumental competitions at the conservatory.
