Giovanni (or Giovan) Bernardo Zucchinetti (Suna, 10 November 1730 – Monza, 11 November 1801) was an Italian composer and organist.



Member of a family of musicians active in central-eastern Lombardy, in his youth he was a pupil of Giovanni Andrea Fiorini in Milan. In 1755 he became chapel master and organist of the Cathedral of Varese and from 1757 he also held the same roles for the Cathedral of Monza. In 1765, due to strong conflicts with both administrations, he ceased all his activities both in Varese and Monza and was replaced by his younger brother Giovanni Domenico. He therefore went to Milan, where from 1773 to 1779 he was organist and chapel master of the Duomo. (Hide extended text) ... (Read all)
