Adolf Terschak (1832 - 1901) Rép. tchèque Adolf Terschak ( Hung. Adolf Terschak ; 6 April 1832 , Prague - 3 October 1901 , Breslau ) - Czech - Austrian flutist virtuoso and composer.
Author of more than 200 works for flute easy salon nature, most of which are reprinted in the XX century. About his works known flutist Theobald Boehm somehow expressed that they are 'and he (Terschak) are much ado about nothing,' and his later works are more 'finger exercises or etudes, not solo pieces' [5] .
Virtuoso works Terschak enjoyed great popularity in the pedagogical repertoire of leading Russian professors of the XIX century, Buchner and Krechman .
