Buried: Trull, De­von (near Taun­ton), Eng­land.

Ewing stu­died law at Mar­is­chal Coll­ege in Aber­deen. In 1855, he joined the ar­my, ris­ing to the rank of lieu­ten­ant col­o­nel, and re­ceiv­ing a me­dal for the cam­paign in Chi­na in 1869. His true love was mu­sic, though, which he stu­died in Hei­del­berg, Ger­ma­ny. A m ... (Read all)
