Daniel Po´i was born in Brussels. After studying and working as engineer (Electronics & Systems) at the University of Brussels, he immigrates to Canada in 1982 where he works as consultants. At the end of the year 1986, he became Canadian. At the year 1999, he meets the famous harpist Eralio Gill at Montreal. He begins the study of the Paraguayan harp during the spring of the next year.
