Girolamo Frescobaldi (1583 - 1643)

Girolamo Frescobaldi (baptized mid-September 1583 ? March 1, 1643) was an Italian musician, one of the most important composers of keyboard music in the late Renaissance and early Baroque periods. There is no evidence that the Frescobaldi of Ferrara were related to the homonymous Florentine noble house. Frescobaldi was born in Ferrara.
