This piece is from my modal collection for Marimba Band. This example is written in the Ionian mode. The beginning and end have quotes from "Frog Went a-Courtin…" The form is each teacher and band's choice. This is just one example.

This is an arrangement for marimba band of Laurent Buczek's Children's Games. It is a modulation exercise using seventh chords. The melody is catchy and the students really enjoyed it. Thank you Laurent.

The Fairy Festival

This is an arrangement for marimba band of "The Fairy Festival." The original piece is for piano and works well with call and response. We also added some color with wind chimes and an ocean drum. Thank you BoRa Sar for your kind permission to use the piece.
