One of those unusual Mozart-esque first movements. Unlike in a prior sonatina of yours where that was the predominant feeling, you softly mix that with your particular style, resulting in a delicious first part of the piece. The second movement feels unusual too in the good way, not only because of the measure. There's something different in this sonatina...If I were to make a ranking (don't really know what criteria I'd follow) this will definitely be noted for one of the top positions for now. The third movement draws the "Pagian" style near again, it's like you were signing your piece with this third movement. As usual, all notes seem to flow naturally but with the addition of having the stain, mark, exotic essence, whatever it be, of the two prior movements... I sometimes forget to evaluate/like works (it's a cool but underused feature as well as the difficulty measure). This time I am already putting a 5-star rating. Congratulations, Paul.

Yes: the Pagian style! I guess it happens to everyone who composes music ? a particular manner or style. Whatever it is, that is just me!!!

As for ranking or rating: it is an overrated concept. Yet I am happy you liked this little sonatina so much to give it five stars. I am so grateful for that.
