Ajoutée par claramarincowitz, 13 Nov 2018 “Inyoka” is an isiXhosa word meaning snake. In
Africa, there are many venomous snakes, but none as
deadly as the mamba. Consequently, the mamba is often
synonymous with fear. This fear was the inspiration for
“Inyoka.” The piece consists of three parts: "Mamba", "Chase" and "Neurotoxin" with a repetition of "Mamba" at the end. For tuba or euphonium and piano. |
