Ajoutée par lrubarth, 08 Jun 2023 According to the official recording list of Atahualpa Yupanqui, this instrumental composition is a collaboration between Atahualpa Yupanqui and his wife Nenette Pepin, who published their works under the pseudonym "Pablo del Cerro". Yupanqui recorded it at least twice. The first version was recorded on June 1, 1956 for the ODEON label and released on the album "Solo De Guitarra - Volume II" (1956). The second version was recorded in 1984 for the MICROFON label and released on the album "La Pampa De Antes" (1984). Both versions are quite similar and have the same song structure (Intro/A/A/B/Intro/A/A/B), but there are some variations and ornaments in the first version that he didn't play on the second recording, which is a bit simpler and easier to play. |
