| Ajoutée par magataganm, 09 Déc 2016 In this two-Part Invention for keyboard No. 7 in E minor (BWV 778), the the top part plays and expands upon a hesitant, questioning figure; the bottom occasionally echoes the main motif, but otherwise lies at rest through the first section of this invention. The bottom part role becomes far more active in the remainder of the piece, delivering an accompaniment line that is similar but by no means identical to the top part.
