This is a sonata in the classical style. The first
movements is in sonata-form; the second is a scherzo;
the third is a slow movement that derives from the
second theme of Mendelssohn's violin concerto; the
fourth is a rondo. As is true with most of my scores,
there are few indications (if any) as to articulation
and dynamics. These are best left up to the performer,
although the accompanying mp3 files may provide some
ideas. |
