Here, the piece begins in "impressionistic" mode, although if we look for influences, it is clearly the more classical (Ravel) that will eventually triumph over the romantic (Debussy). | |||

Suddenly I am in a clock shop with dozens upon dozens of clocks gently competing for a moment’s attention. what a magical little piece. I love it! So well and intelligently composed. |
